Take a peek!
I’ve been reviewing this set most of the month as I felt like each individual product included deserved a review. Below are the contents of the set and each also includes a link to a detailed review of each product in the set but I will give some running commentary on the products again in this post! Think of it was a little brief recap!
You get:
- Fan Brush and Stand
- Foundation Brush
The set is done in a beautiful white packaging so it is a little different from It Cosmetics standard silver compacts! The set is an excellent value as these are all full size products including the brushes.
The brushes are synthetic but have super soft bristles and are shed free. I’ve done plenty of reviews on It Cosmetics Brushes in the past and many of you already own and love these brushes. I’m not a huge fan of synthetic brushes but It does them very well. The bristles are crazy soft, the handles very sturdy, and I experience no issues with shedding! You get two brushes in this set one of which is a Heavenly Luxe Airbrush Foundation Brush to be used in conjunction with the Celebration Foundation. This is a flat top strippling brush that allows you to buff the powder onto your skin. With other powders I get a very soft, even application of powder with a beautiful airbrushed finish. In the case of Celebration Foundation this brush might be a little TOO much for drier skin as it does distribute a good deal of powder on your face. So try to keep it very light during application as Celebration Foundation is quite powdery, drier, and does accentuate pores and drier areas when applied to heavily.

In my review of the Celebration Foundation I did mention how it failed to work with me due to my drier skin. It clings to my dry areas and is very noticeable unfortunately so I do think it would be best suited for oily skin. I was hopeful Feel The Moment Serum Sensory Primer would be a good base for the powder foundation because it is SO hydrating but unfortunately I still had issues.
Feel The Moment Serum Sensory Primer is probably my favorite portion of this set and for this alone the set is worth a purchase. I likened it to Hourglass No 28 Serum in my review of it last week. It has a herbal scent and a gel-like consistency with a super hydrating finish on skin. They include a fan brush for application with it as well. The fan brush actually makes the primer wearable for daily use as on its own, massaged into skin, it can be a bit TOO much moisture. But applying a small amount on the back of your hand and swiping the fan brush in it and across your face will sheer and thin the formula out so you’ll get a thinner layer of moisture on face that absorbs a little easier versus application straight from the bottle. They include a small stand which you can use to hold the fan brush and the primer together as well with this set!
Another brilliant item in this set is the Eyelift in a Tube which is basically Bye Bye Concealer but in a different format. This is dual sided so it contains Bye Bye Concealer on one side and a brightening agent on the other. Bye Bye is one of my top concealers because of the concentrated formula that is SUPER pigmented. It’s very creamy, very emollient, and will conceal much of ANY issue in my opinion due to the excellent color pay off. The other end of the tube contains a lighter brightening which you can contour with or dab under your eyes to add a touch of brighten tired eyes!
The set comes in a gift box and also includes step by step instructions for application as well as excellent tips for contouring your face.
Overall, there isn’t any denying this is an excellent value. My only issue with the set was Celebration Foundation isn’t really a good pick for my drier skin. You might wish to take this into consideration when purchasing. However, you also might wish to set Celebration Foundation aside and use it perhaps in the Summer when your skin has a touch more shine and oil to it. That happens to be the case for me as my skin is dry now but come Summer I’ll be complaining about oiliness.
The set is available on QVC.com.
