DHC Scalp Massage Pack

Amen for treatments that remove the weekly gunk that builds up in your hair! DHC Scalp Massage Pack is a brand new hair masque that removes excess oil and other crazy build up that gets your hair feeling more like itself after a hardcore week of styling.

Check it out!

DHC Scalp Massage Pack ($22) is a new invigorating citrus mint scented hair pack that you can use weekly (or if you’re feeling frisky use it twice a week) to get your locks looking lively again.

This a creamy gel-like consistency with a very subtle scent that you can apply to your hair while in the shower after shampooing or even on its own. Simply apply to your hair massaging it gently in. Leave it in for several minutes and rinse out with lukewarm water. It’s created with shea butter, macadamia, avocado, olive, and algae extra to get your hair soft and hydrated while natural clays remove excess buildup and energize your scalp.

My hair is very long, very wavy and curly with a good deal of dryness. I don’t have oily roots but I do suffer from buildup if I veer away from my typical Lush Haircare regime. My hair is a magnetic for silicones and this weights it down, gives it a lifeless look, and just generally makes my hair super heavy and dull. I rely on a variety of clarifying treatments to rinse away build up so I was happy to add this DHC Scalp Massage Pack to my weekly hair detox. It feels gentle enough to use daily really! It rinses clean away doesn’t have a strong fragrance and leaves my scalp feeling tingly and squeaky clean! It also lightens my hair and makes it easier to de-tangle plus it adds shine.

If you need a little something to rinse out the gunk after a week of abusing your hair this one is a winner.

Really want to try this, as my face loves DHC cleansing oil maybe my hair will, too? I use Bumble & Bumble Sunday shampoo to get rid of buildup (mostly dry shampoo), and I really like it. I got the Terax Latte shampoo to try, with weird results. Use it twice in a row and my hair is sooo dirty and greasy feeling, but once a month it leaves it really nice and weightless and clean. Weird! Have you tried either of these?

I like DHC’s Head Oil. I’ll wear it overnight for deep conditioning and then shampoo it out in the morning. I’d like to try this one as well!

I got this too but I think it may have made my hair more greasy- I need to try it more I guess to see for sure! I have really oily hair.

If I ever need to de-gunk, I just mix a healthy amount of baking soda in my existing shamppp and work it in. It won’t lather so you need a lot, but MAN does it work!
