Too Faced Bon Bon La Creme

Too Faced Bon Bon La Creme Lipstick ($21) is one of five brand new permanent shades of La Creme Lipstick launching with the Too Faced Haute Chocolate Spring 2014 Collection.

Anyone love that all the new La Creme shades are named like some sort of candy!? Jelly Bean, Taffy, Lollipop…!

Let’s take a look Bon Bon!

Sephora describes Too Faced Bon Bon La Creme as a pink papaya but personally I feel like it is more of milky coral papaya. Shades like this bring out the fact that Too Faced, even though the formula is deceiving at times, is indeed a cream lipstick.

Too Faced La Creme is truly like no cream lipstick I’ve had the pleasure of using. They are lightweight, have a beautiful butter glide, and a high shine finish that looks very glossy. The formula trumps any cream lipstick I have ever tried. And generally, I dislike cream finishes because I find them a bit dry but La Creme really excels at creating a beautiful cream consistency.

Bon Bon, Lollipop, Pink Chocolate, Taffy, Jelly Bean

Bon Bon isn’t really me as it is a bit too cool. I like warmer corals as you probably already know. It’s a bit too milky on my lips so a little warmth wouldn’t go unnoticed by yours truly.

However, if you like cooler corals you’re sure to adore Too Faced Bon Bon.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Why you no likey? I think it looks gorgeous on you! Understated, compared to the deeper hues flooding the market, but oh so brightening & so femme. To each her own aesthetics, of course, but you look radiant to me 🙂
