Too Faced Jelly Bean La Creme

Mmm jelly beans! Too Faced Jelly Bean La Creme Lipstick ($22) is a bright raspberry that yes, quite reminds me of jelly beans. Too Faced has introduced five brand new permanent shades of La Creme Lipstick with their Haute Chocolate Spring 2014 Collection and Jelly Bean is one of those shades.

Take a peek!

Too Faced Jelly Bean La Creme Lipstick is called a bright raspberry red on Sephora’s site and I’d say that’s just about the best description. It is a cooler shade with a rich pigment and full color coverage on first application. It applies smoothly with a hydrating creamy formula that wore for a solid five hours on my lips, leaving behind a slight stain after it wore completely away. The color has blue undertones which typically aren’t great with my undertones but I think it looks fairly nice on my lips none the less. The color reeks Valentine’s Day to me, don’t you agree?

It has a beautiful sheen on its own but with clear gloss it totally sizzles. The shade does migrate slightly for me, probably because it is so pigmented, so a little transparent or colored lip liner will keep it in place.

The formula has a moisturizing feel throughout the wear with light lemon sugar fragrance and flavor.

This is a color that pops with a sultry brown eye look so indeed it’ll pair wonderfully well with the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette.

It’ll be available at Sephora, Sephora.com, Ulta, Ulta.com, and toofaced.com.

Thanks for the review! There are a few interesting shades in there, I want to try the pink chocolate.

This is such a gorgeous shade! I was worried it might be too similar to Maybelline Color Whisper in Who Wore It Red-er, but after comparing your swatches they look different enough to justify getting both, yay!

I’ve never commented but I’ve been a longtime reader. Had to tell you that I adore this look on you. The lipstick is really lovely and makes your gorgeous eyes pop! I may have to pick it up for myself now! Love your blog! Thanks for all you do!

I do not NEED more lipstick! I will not NEED any come spring.

However… The Lollipop La Creme is a sweet temptation! And I’m wondering why I don’t already own Cinnamon Kiss!?! Jelly Bean looks amazing on you! And I can tell from your photo just how creamy this formula is. It lasted five hours? See, that’s a wise INVESTMENT! I will save money by not needing to reapply so often. 😉
