Lancome Dreamtone Review & Swatches
I feel like we spend way too much time concentrating on things we don’t like about ourselves. I know I’m always complaining about the puffiness under my eyes! Everyone is going to run into at least one thing (or maybe even several things) we dislike about ourselves. Maybe its oily skin, maybe dark spots, perhaps an uneven complexion, or problematic skin or even too short legs or frizzy hair! We all have that one thing we dislike about ourselves but we shouldn’t have to apologize for those things. Always be comfortable in your own skin and be happy with who you are because any of the small issues you’re stressing over are likely overpowered by several hundred GOOD things.
And thankfully the things that we dislike are easily fixable! Like my puffy eyes are easily concealed with a good concealer and a pat of powder! Phew!
As for skin issues such as darkness, uneven skin tone or color imperfects products like Lancome Dreamtone aid you in being more comfortable in your own skin.
Lancome DreamTone is the next generation in dark spot correction. After use women experienced glowing skin, more even skin done, and even a disappear of dark spots as well as a reduction in color imperfections (studies are based on global self-assessments of women of multiple ethnicities in an 8-week study).
I’ve been personally using Lancome Dreamtone in the medium tone for nearly four weeks now. It’s a thinner consistency serum with a gel-like texture that absorbs easily into skin. It’s pale pink in color and has a little hint of shimmer to it. No worries about the shimmer as once applied I’m not seeing any glow or sparkly finish. I’ve actually only been using it in my nightly regime and experience fairly good results. It is recommended for twice a day use and I actually just recently incorporated it into my daily skincare regime as well as my nightly one. I use a ton of product so actually having to add one more to my list was a little intimidating but this is so lightweight you really won’t mind using it prior to any other skincare in your line up.
It doesn’t really hydrate or moisturizer skin but what it does excel at is treating skin. I have some minor darkness, sun damage on my jaw line, I sometimes refer to it as hyperpigmentation but this possibly the wrong definition for it because really it is only darkness. I’ve lightened the area up considerably with a variety of products so I didn’t notice much difference in the area when using Lancome Dreamtone. What do I notice is that it restores the glow to my lackluster skin. I have duller skin and the effects of Lancome Dreamtone and what I’d experience from an over the counter retinol in the fact it gives me my glow back and brightens up my entire complexion. For someone experiencing dullness like myself this is incredible. My skin looks brighter, healthier, thus giving me a more
rested, youthful appearance. This is the type of product that will make you comfortable in your own skin!
I’m pretty comfortable in my bare skin and I don’t apologize for any of my flaws and neither should you. But I’m not averse to using skincare, makeup, or other beauty products to make those imperfections look better. Lancome Dreamtone takes my already good skin and makes it look even better.
Lancome Dreamtone is $98 and available for purchase at your favorite Lancome counters or online at lancome.com.
