Riri Hearts MAC Holiday Cockiness Superslick Eye Liner1

Riri Hearts MAC Holiday Cockiness Superslick Eye Liner ($20.50) is one of two shimmering, limited edition liquid eyeliners released with the Riri Hearts MAC Holiday 2013 Collection.

MAC Cockiness Superslick Eye Liner embraces the rose gold trend at the moment (the shade would have an excellent pick for Pantone’s Color of the Year, oh well, maybe next year yes?).

Take a look!

MAC Cockiness Superslick Eyeliner is a shimmering coppery rose. I typically excel at liquid liner application when it includes shimmer just not full on color, irony anyone? This is super easy to apply with a thin felt tip applicator for application.

I had a rather bad experience with Cockiness though as it was a bit watery during application and I felt like I had to line and reline with it to see the best opacity. The shimmer and sparkle was also a little weak due to this running consistency. It could be a fluke though….as I read a few raving reviews for it so I might have just gotten a formula that was off.

I did wish that I could get my hands on another but it sold out rather quickly online and I haven’t yet been able to track one down in stores since my life is hairy and crazy right now due to the Holidays. I’m just curious if my formula was a fluke and perhaps for ruined with shipment in the cold?!

This one is gorgeous if you can find a formula that isn’t runny as mine!

may sound stupid but did you try shaking it? or rolling it really fast between your hands? Maybe the pigment settled? Oh well, I hope it gets better.

shaked hard but not rolling…I can try rolling it but not sure it’ll help! 🙂

I had a mascara that “wouldn’t go” from Smashbox and they told me to do that. More for the heat, since my hands are always cold I gave it a quick shot with my blow dryer LOL and it worked – go figure. I guess the formula needed a little heat to make it move.
I hope it gets better for you.
