Too Faced Bulletproof Brows To Keep Brows Tidy

Too Faced Bulletproof Brows 1

Too Faced Bulletproof Brows ($30) is a cream to powder formula that works as a setting wax, powder, gel, and pencil all in one that sets to a water and sweat proof finish.

There’s one thing in my beauty life that I don’t need help with that that would be brows. I have plenty to go around. So if your brows are sparse by ALL means I’ll share my bushy brows with you!

For those with sparse brows though in need of a kindly helping hand Too Faced Bulletproof Brows is on the joy.

Available in Universal Taupe and Universal Brunette the Too Faced Bulletproof Brows formula is a whipped mousse-like consistency with excellent color pay off. It takes a second or so to set and has a creamy consistency that’s easy enough to use. It comes with a dual sided brush for application so you’ll get a spoolie on one end and a slanted angled brush for the other.

I had a little problem with it sticking to the hair of my brows unnaturally but I do believe this is for someone with more sparse brows than my own. It sets in a minute or so and doesn’t rub off easily. Even when I washed my face it was still sticking around but it didn’t make the hair of my brows feel stiff which I was a little worried about. It basically felt like I had applied brow wax and it dries down to a soft, natural finish!

I’m not an expert on products like this but if you’re looking to fill in brows and give them a fuller appearance with a formula that won’t disappear this seems like a very good pick! Too Faced launched it recently with their Spring 2014 Collection and it is available at toofaced.com as well as Sephora.com and will be in stores shortly as well.

Do you use brow products?

Or are you as unlucky as I am with huge brows that overtake your face?! icon biggrin

I used to have beautiful full brows like you. But over plucking in my youth and the natural thinning of hair which occurs in middle hair has left me a little sparse. This product sounds great!

I can’t wait for the thinning of hair….seriously my brows SUCK! If I don’t keep at them they are liking to overtake my forehead or the world :-D

My brows used to be fuller but I’m starting to lose the tails because of age(!). Right now I’m using the NYX pencil to fill in but I’m not in love with it but it’ll do for now.

I’m more like you muse (big light blonde/brown bushy brows) if I don’t keep on top of them they’ll turn right into the unibrow of ultimate doom. But, because of their lighter colour- I like to colour them in when I’m going out for the night. If this product is actually waterproof as it claims, I would love to give it a test when I’m out on the town (I sweat most waterproof mascaras off) as it’s the ultimate gauntlet test.

My brows have not only gotten sparser with age, I’m beginning to see (gasp!) grays too. I admit I spend an ungodly amount of time on them when doing my makeup. Enhanced but still natural looking brows are the hardest thing to get right. Just a smidge too much of powder/pencil and boom! my brows are entering the room before I do LOL. My current routine is using mascara on the inner part (coz I find shading the skin there makes them look too “solid”), pencil dotted on the sparse parts mainly to emphasize the arch, then a gel to bring back the natural glossiness of hair. Fussy, I know. But well worth it for me coz brows are essential to a polished look & they really do frame one’s eyes so that if done well, a wash of eye color is enough.

Oh Musey your brows are gorgeous! I have always admired them! When you have time to play, try blanking them out or lightening them with a skin tone pigment & look at the effect. I suspect after that experiment you will love them forever after ;) Your brows are on the Goldilocks level of just right! <3 <3 <3

I’m currently using Benefit’s Brow Zing kit, I’ve being using it for half a year and I haven’t even used half of it. It is definitely worth the money but I can’t help but sniff else where, this looks interesting. Did you ever make a mistake and was it easy to correct after the 60 second BOOM EYEBROWS moment?

My brows aren’t full but they grow in a bit crazy and require maintenance. Because they’re dark I can get away with not filling them in all the time.
