Wet n Wild Lights Camera Attraction Color Icon Eyeshadow Medley Palette Review & Swatches
Wet n Wild Lights Camera Attraction Color Icon Eyeshadow Medley Palette ($4.99) is one of three limited edition eyeshadow palettes launched with the Wet n Wild in the Spotlight Holiday 2013 Collection.
Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Medley Palettes aren’t really knew as there was a brief run of these around Summer but with this new launch the shadow formula improved dramatically as I reviewed those palettes and was very disappointed but the Holiday ones were turned out much better thus far.
Here’s a look at the Wet n Wild Lights Camera Attraction Color Icon Eyeshadow Medley Palette.
Wet n Wild Lights Camera Attraction Color Icon Eyeshadow Medley Palette is made up of eight total shades. You get three soft shimmer wash colors, three main eyeshadow colors, and two eyeliners in each palette.
I personally dislike Lights, Camera, Attraction because the colors aren’t something I’d typically enjoy using. These are cooler shades of pink, purple, and blue with pastel shimmer washes in baby pink, lilac, and blue. I personally feel like they are a bit mismatched as I’d never use a true blue shade with pink and purple but that’s of course entirely up to you and your personal preference of colors.
Outside of that the shadow formula is nicely pigmented as well as the liners. They aren’t terribly chalky or dry and the texture is just slightly powdery with excellent pigmentation. The shimmer washes are best used as an topcoat because they are very sheer and subtle on their own with little pigmentation but still have a pretty shimmery finish should you wish to add them on top of the satin of these shades which lack any sparkle or shimmer on their own.
Overall, Wet n Wild Lights Camera Attraction doesn’t suffer from formula issues. This is nicely pigmented with a nice quality of shadow. However, I was just disappointed in the color selection itself. I really loved the pink in this palette but the other shades I couldn’t see myself using in together for a look! Perhaps separately just not in a single eye look!
I’ve seen these popping up at Walgreens as well as Harmons.
