Yves Rocher Cacao Collection Hand Cream Review

crowley

Yves Rocher Cocoa & Orange Hand Cream ($3.50) is one of three limited edition hand creams that Yves Rocher launched for Holiday 2013 with their traditional Cacaco Collection.

And yes, it does smell like a chocolate orange 🙂

Yves Rocher Cacao Collection Hand Cream

Chocolate Oranges, as far as I’m concerned, were made in hell. Crowley possibly had something to do with their creation but this hand cream, this is addicting!

It’s starting to get cold now and we had our first snow fall yesterday which means dry hands, knees, elbows, and chapped lips are a coming. Keep your hands pampered, hydrated, and soft with Yves Rocher’s Cocoa & Orange Hand Cream! This lightweight, quick absorbing hand cream doesn’t leave hands oily or greasy and plus it scents them like chocolate and oranges what more do you want? Not into chocolate oranges? I gotta say, I’m a HUGE believer Peeps and Orange Chocolates were forged in Hell but I don’t mind the smell of orange and chocolate, there’s something so decadent about it, but just don’t make eat one ok?

On that note if you’re not into you can indulge in Cocoa & Raspberry or Cocoa & Pistachio Nut (this one smells very fresh and almost a touch floral) Hand Creams as well.

Best part?

The $3.50 price tag! Perfect price for stuffing stockings.

$3.50?? Wow that’s quite the steal! For some reason I have associated Yves Rocher to have expensive things. Idk about this chocolate orange thing though, haha I can see myself just smelling my hands all day long after I put this on!
Btw, do you know if there is any retailer for Yves Rocher? I want to buy but idk how long it will take for shipping…

    • the Muse

i believe it is catalog/online based only dita never seen it sold anywhere else. you have two weeks to order so I imagine it’ll arrive on time unless they are using pony express lol! most online stores guarantee christmas shipping

  • Nat

Muse, your hell is my heaven. I LOVE chocolate orange! Gonna have to track these down! 😀

    • the Muse

lol nat am I the only person that hates terry’s orange bloody chocolate?! 😀

      • Nat

LOLZ I guess so! I did a big order last night, heehee – but unfortunately a bunch of the choc orange stuff was sold out, waaaah (at least on the Canadian website). And although they had lip balms for the other cocoa flavours, they didn’t even have a choc orange lip balm listed…wth? 😀

  • MalinVaine

This looks very interesting. I’m going to have to try it. I am one of the weird people who likes eating orange and chocolate together–chocolate and lemon too. Oh and I LOVE Crowley!

    • the Muse

please step away from the Crowley, he’s mine…! 😀 hehe! ugh nooo that’s too gross for me!

      • MalinVaine

Haha No problem–I’m a “Dean Girl” all the way. Crowley is great because he’s so sassy!

        • the Muse

step away from dean as well…LOL ;-D I met Mark Sheppard (and his dad who I adore as an actor) a few times at Cons and he is simply lovely, a really great guy 🙂

  • Kate

Oh, no! Who will speak up for the foil wrapped chocolate orange? I will! 😛

    I love them!

Visiting this site is always so fun, but it is doubly so at holiday time. Thanks for the post mania!

  • Angel

The pistachio one I’m ok with. But I’m with you on chocolate oranges. Or raspberry for that matter. Blech! I’m a chocolate whore and I like it pure and simple. Fruit and chocolate is a waste of my time LOL!

  • Nikita

Hey! Love love love your blog! I’m a long time viewer, but this is my first comment ever! 🙂
Just had a question, do you know if by any chance this is sold in stores anywhere?

    • the Muse

thanks Nikita so glad you enjoy Musings. Not as far as I know, believe Yves Rocher is a catalog/online thing only!

  • Tanya

I’ve been meaning to order from this company for quite a while now. I love chocolate & raspberry anything and Cocoa & Pistachio sounds great, but chocolate & orange? Not so much. I may not think chocolate oranges were made in hell, lol, but I had one once and that was more than enough for me :).

    • the Muse

lol 😀 well maybe not hell but Crowley def had something to do with it 😀

    • Nat

I can recommend the Anti-Asphyxiation Flash Mask (I know, that name is something else!); it’s lovely! 😀

  • Lexi

Crowley totally would do that. I have never enjoyed the idea of chocolate + citrus. Meh.
Although, he does “just want to be loved”, so maybe it wasn’t him? Maybe he made super awesome hand cream that didn’t make you smell like a creepy citrus chocolate factory? Speaking of…my hands are a HOT MESS right now. What are your fave hand creams?

    • the Muse

LOL Lexi 🙂 maybe not…we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt 😀 Smitten Hand Cream which is back on retro Lush 🙂 MUST HAVE!
