Bare Minerals 5 in 1 Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow Review & Swatches

Bare Minerals Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow

Bare Minerals 5 in 1 Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow is for ALL the Laura Mercier Eye Basic and Trish McEvoy Eye Essentials fan girls out there.

You know who you are.

Bare Minerals 5 in 1 Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow is a smooth, creamy eyeshadow with a five in one formula that contains SPF 15. It’s such a rarity that eye products contain SPF….!

This can be used an primer, brightener, eyeshadow, or even a concealer if the shade matches up well with your skin tone.

Personally I like it as a brightener or a bare eye look. I have the shade Chamomile and it’s a bright ivory that preps my lids for powders or creates an overall brighter look on my lids. The formula is super creamy and very, very saturated so a little goes a long way to produce excellent color.

I typically rely on Benefit Lemon Aid to brighten my lids but I like a naked eye look on days I can’t be bothered with eyeshadow and this does an excellent job of creating making my tired eyes look brighter and creates a very solid bare eye look. On top of this I also like how it creates an excellent base for loose pigments and powders and prevents fall out because it gives them something to cling to! If you have finer lines on your lid or upper eye area it also likely make a nice base to blur the appearance of those issues.

For me though it all about the brightening benefits as sometimes my eyelids are a but dull and dark and this perks them right up. The formula doesn’t crease or fade through the wear on my drier eyes and the formula blend easily with a smooth, satiny dry down.

If the color matches, this is a cooler ivory, you can even use a bit under your eyes to brighten up dark circles!

LOVE this stuff.

I was hoping you would review this! I like the LM and TM ones so I guess I’d like this too. Thanks. 🙂

Do you think a pale girl with dark circles could use this as concealer? I have tried so many that don’t work on my under eyes

I love your blog! I am receiving this item in my Ipsy bag this month and I wanted to see some reviews. Thanks for showing the swatches. I was concerned with using a creme type eyeshadow because it sounds really messy, but the picture you posted makes it seem easy to apply. I’m excited to try this out!

ooooooooh I think I need this! Yep, I need it, its muse approved afterall, so I MUST have it! LOL! I am curious about the packaging, it may be difficult to use it all. Do you think if I bought an extra ELF concealer brush I could get it in there, or maybe there is a way to depot it all out? I would hate to waste something that looks so pretty!

i don’t know about depotting, not sure a brush would fit into it…! but you can try 🙂
