Bare Minerals Heartbreaker Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss Review & Swatches
Meet the limited edition Bare Minerals Heartbreaker Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss that’s available with the Bare Minerals Romantic Trend Collection for Spring 2014. This lovely shade works great on its own, I didn’t think it would, and looks just as incredible on top the Bare Minerals Feel the Love Marvelous Moxie Lipstick.
I’d like to chime in and say you need it.
Bare Minerals Heartbreaker Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss is actually very sheer on the initial application but builds to a lovely lighter shade of peony pink with a golden shimmer with two applications. It’s very translucent but I find you can get the color to show well if you apply a few layers. It has a lovely golden look to it with a paler yet wearable shade of pink. At a glance I was disappointed as I had hopes it would be as dusky a rosy pink as the Feel the Love Lipstick but after trying it out for size I was actually delighted.
It’s sort of milky at first and I feared zombie lips but after a few applications the color really shines through and looks lovely. Atop Feel the Love Lipstick it lightens the duskiness of that shade and gives it a delightful pop of pink! If you’re talented I’m sure you can get a very nice ombre lip look together using the two products!
As with all Marvelous Moxie Lipglosses it has a very slightly sticky yet comfortable wear with a nice shine and a plush, pouty feel on lips that wears for at least four hours. It does have a cinnamon/vanilla minty flavor and scent.
These two shades are totally putting me in a Spring and hearts and roses kinda mood! They just reek Valentine’s Day and make me want to haul every single pink eyeshadow and blush I have to create soft, romantic looks with!
