Bobbi Brown Nude Glow Sheer Lip Color Review & Swatches
Pink Flush, Pink Glow, and Pink Rose are three new, limited edition Bobbi Brown Nude Glow Sheer Lip Colors ($25) releasing with the Bobbi Brown Nude Glow Spring 2014 Collection.
These sheer, lightweight lipsticks are one of my favorites from the brand with a hybrid formula that’s packed with color and anything but sheer.
Bobbi Brown Nude Glow Sheer Lip Color calls the formula mistake proof and no mirror needed lipstick. Ok, so I’m accident prone, application without a mirror isn’t happening unless you want me applying it on my teeth, cheeks, and forehead.
Pink Gold, Pink Rose, Pink Flush
The Sheer Lip Color is a super lightweight texture that has the consistency of a soft, creamy balm and the full color coverage of a lipstick. Aside from Pink Gold the shades all have opaque color when built up. The formula is formulated with shea and murumuru butter so the formula is highly hydrating through the four hour wear time.
These have a buttery texture but a lighter feel compared to Revlon Lip Butter but a touch heavier in comparison to Maybelline Color Whisper Lipstick with a much nicer consistency and wear when compared to the unusual plush feel of MAC Huggable Lip Color (even though they are sister brands). Application is smooth without tugging and a gloriously easy glide with no flavor or fragrance in the formula. The texture reminds me of a buttery slash balm but has the excellent wear and color of a lipstick. Depending on the shade I can get nearly five hours of wear without it feathering or migrating and remaining fresh and intense as original application. They also have a nice shine.

Although marketed as sheer these babies pack color with a long wearing formula that’s comfortable, hydrating, and color rich!

P.S. We should talk about how hot Richard Armitage is today. Good conversation for a rainy day.
