Garnier Clean Invigorating Daily Scrub Review

Garnier Clean Invigorating Daily Scrub is one of several brand new Garnier Clean Skincare products that have launched for the Spring 2014 season.

I gotta tell you this isn’t the friendliest scrub in the world on my drier skin BUT I LOVE IT! It’s my new best friend!

So, ok, Garnier Clean Invigorating Daily Scrub will be shelved. Yeah, I know, you shouldn’t just drop new friends like hot potatoes but sadly this little guy is going to be stocked away in my skincare cabinet. As soon as the warmer weather hits I promise I’ll bring it out of hiding.

This is a daily scrub created for normal skin which gently exfoliates and “invigorates” skin. I always raise a brow at skincare products that energize and invigorate. But it’s true! Infused with mint and jojoba beads it has a grainy gel-like consistency that does not lather up but produces a SUPER cool tingle on skin as you apply it and well after you wash it away. I admit I dug the tingle! My skin felt super cool and tingly during application and well after. For that alone I adore it! If you’re sensitive beware because it is highly fragranced with a fresh scent and all that tingling goodness might get to you as well (sadly, it doesn’t smell like mint damn!).

It actually works fantastically at gently scrubbing away dead skin and if you use it daily it’ll like keep your skin nice and smooth. I can see this keeping my dry flaky skin nice and smooth with daily use. On the down side it does tighten and dry my skin up a bit….eep! Thus I’ll have to wait for warmer weather to enjoy it as my skin tends to go a bit combo in the warmer weather. But hey, that’ll be a great time to use it as who doesn’t love a cool refreshing feel in the Spring and Summer.

Too bad about the dryness though. If you have normal skin do give it a shot!
