Guerlain Meteorites Blush Spring 2014

The new Guerlain Meteorites Blossom for Spring 2014 celebrates the reinvention of the legendary Meteorites Pearls, whose light- diffusing properties minimize flaws and add brightness to the skin. More than 25 years after its invention, Meteorites Pearls emerges with new constellations of colors to revive light and boost radiance. For the first time ever, Meteorites Pearls incorporates Guerlains new, revolutionary “Stardust Technology, a spherical pigment contained within each pearl. This formulation diffracts light upon contact to offer the ultimate in luminous skin. Meteorites Blossom celebrates this revolutionary technology, as well as the romantic colors of the new constellations, through images of light and infinite radiance.

Guerlain Meteorites Pearls $60
Each shade of Météorites Pearls begins with the same legendary combination of 3 colors which adapt to every skin tone and collectively work to beautify skin: mauve catches the light, pink refreshes and yellow counters dullness and corrects redness. These delicate and perfectly round pearls continue to be shaped by hand, with craftsmanship mastered by only 4 people in the world. Softer than ever, the new pearls allow for an even easier application and a more visible effect with every brushstroke. These precious pearls are contained in a beautiful metal tin, now marked with a new emblem of a reinterpreted rosette created with a light gradation of pink.

Ps: I replied to your last comment on the nars pro prime post, if you don’t respond I’m gonna take it as divorce papers 😛

    • Isabella Muse

I DUNNO! I’ve been up all night thinking that myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean I know the lip balms from lancome, body shop, eos…but I too have blushes like that but WHERE or WHO makes them!? AHHHHHH! oh sorry…I have 280 comments to get through ugh I need an internet 😀 don’t divorce me, I couldn’t live or breath without you! 😀

      • Cj

This is definitely one of those “you know you have too much makeup when” instances lol. I’ll go digging later and report back to you!

        • Isabella Muse

I also think there’s a Japanese one I have I’ll dig too and report back!

    • A

don’t mean to barge in but… shu uemura and a bunch of korean brands have released blushes in that type of packaging

    • Isabella Muse

me too which I have one of but can’t recall who made them! CJ just said Shu but there’s also another brand that did them! Grr wish I could remember who!

      • A

nature republic, banila co., the saem, a’pieu and vov are some of the korean brands that had them

  • Cj

I COME BAREING NEWS! They are shu uemura cream blushes. I have a pink one and a peach one.

    • Isabella Muse

OH CRAP YEAH! NOW I REMEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • JoElla

Glad ya’ll figured it out. Because even I was thinking that someone else make this type of blush?!

I have always wanted to try the pearls, but the ‘only 4 people in the world’ thing made me totally LMAO! Hopefully they meant 4 factories? Because they are totally venturing into QVC’s ‘rare earth, made by monks blah blah blah’ talk 😉

  • Nicole

Oh my. I think this is the year I splurge and buy a bunch of Guerlain products. They’re just all beyond gorgeous.

  • Lisa

Oh those meteorites are my downfall…all those swirly bits of color…and the blushes…and lipgloss….my makeup addiction is so sad

  • Cynthia

Those bubbles remind me of the blushes from the lily cole collection from the body shop that came out a few years ago.

    • Isabella Muse

yes but most of it like the bubble blush etc has sold out at sephora.com

  • Lisa Adams

I tried the the soft pink in the bubble blush at the Guerlain counter when it launched months ago. Sublime. The texture, blendability, color, wear time all superior. The packaging? Not so much. Definitely wouldn’t pop it in your bag for fear of cracking that lucite top. If you over tighten, crack, if you drop it, crack. Then you have a total loss on your hands because the product would dry up. Then there is the price. I am a high-end makeup junkie. Having said that, I expect high-end packaging. This was flea market packaging at the tune of $42! Hard pass! Too bad! I expect much more from Guerlain (and they usually deliver). Do you remember the launch of the Guerlain Ecrin 6 eyeshadow? Now that was elegant packaging!

    • Isabella Muse

absolutely! That was traditional packaging for Guerlain, the compact was quite weighty and worth every single penny you paid for it! I agree! although cute it isn’t exactly Guerlains’ normal packaging! I kinda like it though, I’m such a freak for anything cute!
