Lancome Teams up with MarieClaire.com and Style Coalition to Promote DreamTone

Lancome Dreamtone (1)

You might recall I recently reviewed Lancome Dreamtone and I’m excited to announce that myself and other bloggers who dared to go bare are featured on MarieClaire.com via Hearse Media’s native Trend Collage content platform which is a highly visual pinboard-like environment.

Lancome teamed up with both MarieClaire.com and Style Coalition to launch this campaign where bloggers, like myself, share their skincare stories.

In a first-to-market execution, Style Coalition bloggers are featured on MarieClaire.com through Feb 14, 2014 sharing their bare selfies and experience with Lancome’s new Dreamtone Serum, chronicling their journey and skincare care stories with the product. The bloggers all uploaded makeup-free selfies and you can also Instagram your own and use hashtag #bareselfie to share with the world.

How do you feel about going makeup-less?

Comfortable and confident enough to share your bare selfie with the world?

I was a girl that never could leave the house without “my face” completely on! Lipstick, lipgloss, eyeshadow, foundation, etc…I was never truly comfortable leaving without it all on but nowadays, as I get older, I feel more and more comfortable just whipping on some lip balm and a hint of concealer and go!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’m actually bare right now. (My face…I’m not naked geez you perv) I just couldn’t be bothered this morning and came to work totally bare face. Never would have done this five years ago.

i was thinking of you naked for the record ;-D I’m the same, I got older and it was like “who cares?! besides I don’t look bad without makeup anyway!” it takes a brave woman 😀

I didn’t see your picture on that page? Are they going to be adding more or did I just miss you somehow? Some of those bloggers were CLEARLY cheating..their complexions were completely even and their lips a lovely even shade of pink. I call BS!

    • Isabella Muse

hit load more and more bloggers come up including me. I have no idea if anyone was or wasn’t cheating I know for myself I posted a bare face, zero on it, that was the challenge after all…most of the bloggers look like they too have pretty bare faces as well but perhaps question them directly rather than snarking at me about it? and perhaps ask them in a bit more of a respectful way versus “I call BS!” as hey we are all adults here right? 🙂

ThisThat Beauty has natural winged eyes! hahaha What a joke..if you’re going to do something, do it wholeheartedly. They are probably all being paid for it too…

I was sponsored for my post however, I tried the product for several weeks prior to reviewing it, unfortunately I have no info on what other bloggers did during their testing/if they were sponsored/etc…I’m unsure what thisthatbeauty used on her face, it looks like she is pretty much bare faced in that photo she posted and that was the challenge, no foundation, apparently she does have liner on but it was about being foundation free however if you have questions about it perhaps ask her directly rather than comment here! Hope this helps!

I am SO comfortable leaving the house with no makeup, but damn as soon as I look at myself in the mirror of the car or some store it hits me how I am NOT AT ALL comfortable showing people my no-makeup face. I still do it! lol

I’ll go out with no makeup but not if it’s to a “function” or a date with the hubby. I wear it most days but if I don’t get there, well, to quote my MIL – “too bad, too sad”. LMAO (I love her!LOL)
