Marc Jacobs The Conceal Full Cover Correcting Brush Review
Marc Jacobs The Conceal Full Cover Correcting Brush No 14 ($30) is a new concealing brush designed to work with the new Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)able Full Cover Concealer.
I purchased the brush on a whim because I had also gotten the Re(Marc)able Full Cover Concealer so hey, why not grab the brush too right?
Here’s some thoughts….!
Marc Jacobs The Conceal Full Cover Correcting Brush is an angled brush that has shorter bristles towards the front of the brush and longer towards the back. These angles can be used to apply concealer onto contoured areas such as under eyes and around the nose area. The heavier handle has a good bit of weight behind it which in turns gives nice control over the brush.
The antibacterial fibre synthetic bristles are soft and shed free.
I actually love and use both the Sephora Pro Airbrush Concealer Brush #57 and my very cheap and effective E.L.F. Studio Concealer Brush for applying concealer. I recently stopped using both to test this brush out…it actually does a fairly great job not only to apply but also blend out concealer to an airbrushed finish. The fibre bristles are thick and full which allows me to “paint” my concealer into place yet still soft enough to blend out to an airbrushed finish.
I’m not sure it’ll take the place of my two other brushes to be honest…..! But it is a very nice brush to use with the new concealer! Sure, it’s $30 bucks but well worth it because the brush is well made and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. If you struggle with concealer and desire a full, airbrushed finish this is a very nice brush to give it to you! Although, I’ll admit, I do prefer Sephora’s version!
It’s available now at Sephora and Sephora.com.
