Milani Cinnamon Spice Color Statement Lipstick Review & Swatches

Milani Cinnamon Spice Lipstick

Milani Cinnamon Spice Color Statement Lipstick ($5.49) is one of six brand new, permanent shades being added to the Milani Color Statement Lipstick Collection.

If you recall I fell in love with Estee Lauder Burnished Bronze Pure Color Vivid Shine Lipstick in October and much to my delight Cinnamon Spice is a delightful version of it but with a WAY beefier formula that’s pigmented and stunning.

Bring on Summer because I’m ready for it with this shade.

Milani Cinnamon Spice Color Statement Lipstick is a metallic shimmering shade brownish bronze with golden shimmer. This is a beautiful color for Spring break and will work well into Summer and of course, when Fall comes back around this is a perfect autumn lip look color.

This has a smooth creamy consistency that doesn’t tug during application and provides full opacity in two layers. The color has an even application that doesn’t migrate of feather. The wear time is a solid five hours for me before showing fading and completely disappearing at hour six. It does have highly fragranced formula and flavor which tastes like watermelon. I find the smell and taste pleasant but sensitive users might not love it.

I haven’t yet tried any of the other new shades but if they are as wonderful as Cinnamon Spice I’m in for a treat as I adored this shade.

DO get it when it launches in February at CVS.

Happy Monday, Sista Muse! I am definitely a fan of Milani and the entire line of new lipsticks are lovely BUT I cannot bear the smell! Seriously, I tossed three or four of them because the scent renders them unwearable to me. I swore off L’Oreal lipsticks years ago because of the old lady perfume stank — but these are even worse IMO. Such a shame because the colors are indeed lovely and if it wasn’t for the damnable smell, I’d probably buy all of them! Are you listening, Milani?

I was totally prepared to hate this shade based on the tube, but it looks beautiful on you! It’s sparkly and rich enough that it could be a holiday colour, too. Very impressed.

Hi Muse. Beautiful color. I’ve only owned one Milani lipstick and found it to be drying. Maybe this is a different formula. Btw, I didn’t get your e-mail for this blog today. Not sure what happened. I tried to resub, but it said I was already sub’d and wouldn’t let me.

melissa the formula is very inconsistent because I have a few that are dry as well where as some are incredibly creamy and gorgeous! you aren’t alone! :) Any posts I did yesterday should be in your inbox today, typically it is a one day delay, did you get them today yet?
