Philosophy Loveswept Shower Gel

Apparently Valentine’s Day is on the way and even though I’m not one for using it as an excuse to tell people that I love them, dude, you should be doing that everyday, anyway, I still love it that my favorite brands release Valentine’s Day beauty items. Because well, hearts, roses, and love make for some good beauty products right?

Philosophy Loveswept Shower Gel available at Ulta and Ulta.com (also in a perfume spray and body lotion for layering!) makes a guest starring appearance in my shower gel for Valentine’s Day and it smells delightfully romantic and deliciousical.

Take a peek!

Like all good Philosophy Shower Gels, Loveswept Shower Gel can be used as a shampoo, a relaxing bubble bath, or a shower gel. Me likey multitasking products!

This soft, delicate floral has notes of fresh bergamot combined with sparkling citrus and delicate yet dominate notes of pink jasmine, lotus blossom, and purple passion fruit!

It actually smells a little unisex to my nose which is nice because it’s like a warm, hard hug from the man you adore! I particularly like it as a shampoo since it isn’t an in shower experience like some of Philosophy’s dessert shower gels as it has a nice throw and linger after I dry my hair.

If you’re looking for a little something to sweep you away this Valentine’s Day check out Philosophy Loveswept Shower Gel.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Would you recommend using Philosophy as a shampoo on very dry hair? I picked up a bottle of vanilla shower gel but have been kind of afraid to use it after hearing some bad things about it being drying.

I would not Jane. I only use it occasionally as a shampoo because it does dry my hair out. Def not something you regularly want to use but is a nice treat from time to time. Same for Lush Shower Gels which double up as a shampoo! Snow Fairy smells great, love washing my hair with it, but damn makes my hair like straw!
