Physicians Formula Bombshell Powder Palette Multi-Colored Custom Blush Review & Swatches
Physicians Formula Bombshell Powder Palette Multi-Colored Custom Blush is part of a new collection entitled The Bombshell Collection. This blush is available in two shade selections and promises a custom color for Blondes and Brunettes.
Physicians Formula Powder Palette Multi-Colored Blush isn’t really a new product and is available in four shades as part of the permanent collection. So these new Bombshell blushes just seem like a retake on those and in shade selections that are already readily available in products like the Cashmere Wear Ultra-Smoothing Blush, pH MatchmakerpH Powered Blush, Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush, etc…
Take a look!
Aside from the packaging and a bit of a sparkly over spray I do think that Physicians Formula Bombshell Powder Palette Multi-Colored Custom Blush are very dupe-able blushes.
Instead of calling them by their normal shade names of Natural and Rose, they are given shade names of Brunettes and Blondes. Each palette is a pressed mosaic blush that features several shades that combined create one glowing blush shade. The texture kinda reminds me of a baked blush of some sort but has a fairly smooth texture. Like most Physicians Formula blushes I had a bit of a problem with these clinging to my drier, patchier areas but for the most part the formula isn’t half bad. I have my love and my hate relationship with PF but these blushes do fall into the middle somewhere and I can’t say I dislike them nor can I say I love but I do like them.

They kinda cuted up the packaging on these as it’ll kinda make you forget that you likely have shades like this in your stash already because really the colors aren’t a lot different from items I already own from Physicians Formula which I listed above and they even to some extend remind me of the shades introduced with the new Glow Nude Blushes even. The new cutesy packaging features some cute little Stila-like characters on the packaging and kinda has a Valentine’s Day theme. The new compacts are a hot pink and feature a dual compact housing the blush on top with a clear plastic bubble lid and a generously sized mirror and small compartment for a brush located on the bottom. As always I’ll take a minute to rant the poor quality of the brush included! It’s scary, sheds everywhere, and just awful! Wish they’d improve upon this already.
Some of the outer circles of the mosaic print have a shimmery over spray but to me after a few uses this didn’t go straight throw the blush. I also thought the blush had a better luminous glow than other mosaic blushes I already own from PF and even a better glow than the Glow Nude products which were created for that finish alone.
In the end, I can’t really say you’ll absolutely NEED Physicians Formula Bombshell Powder Palette Multi-Colored Custom Blush especially if you already own a ton of their blushes already! However, it is a nice pick up if you haven’t tried the brand before and want a nice glow-y blush! Mind you it isn’t the best blush formula in the world but it isn’t the worst either and has fairly nice pigmentation and an easy to blend formula that wears a solid five to six hours.
