Cheap Thrills with Stila Sweet Treat Bronzing Powder

Stila Sweet Treat Bronzing Powder spring 2014

It’s that time of the year again kids! When Stila gifts us with cheap thrills! Stila Sweet Treat Bronzing Powder ($14) joins the ranks of Love at First Blush, Make Me Blush, All You Need is Love, and many others with this sweet and beauty budget friendly bronzing powder for Spring 2014.

Stila Sweet Treat Powder

I’m not huge on bronzers but I kinda just want to indulge in the Stila Sweet Treat Bronzing Powder because it looks like a chocolate bar so a perfect companion to Too Faced The Chocolate Bar Eye Palette.

It is actually indeed inspired by a box of chocolates according to Stila. The multicolored squares can be swirled together and used to create a golden glow on skin on use it to contour and sculpt your face with the trio of matte and shimmery shades. A hint of peach gives this blush a luminous glow!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. Would have been great if this was a blush instead of a bronzer not a huge fan of shimmer in a bronzer.

Cheap thrills, indeed! I didn’t even realize the price tag until just now. I’m about to click the order button online right now, after having seen this bronzer every time I went into ULTA the past few weeks … but I wanted to see what people thought of it first, which brought me here 🙂 THEN I realized that it was, in fact, only $14! So, even if I hate it, I really won’t mind too much (and I can probably pass it along to my best friend).

With all that being said, what did you think of the actual product and its blendability? I need a blendable bronzer otherwise the whole face gets messed up … all caked up and gross and not that “lit from within glow” we’re supposed to be getting from bronzers … so I tread lightly when it comes to buying bronzer. I’ve actually been using the bronzer in the UD Naked Flushed palette recently and I like it, I find it to be very blendable, which is the major reason why I like it, and the color is not that dark on my skin.

I’m a long-time lurker and first-time commenter. Thank you for all of your beauty inspiration and great reviews!

they do a cheapie blush every year Amanda and most times it is really good so I’m sure this will be too! 😀 I haven’t personally tried it as of yet, I’m not much of a bronzer girl but I did like the blushes they released in the past 🙂 If I try I’ll update with more info!
