About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. OMG! This is such a beautiful collection! I can’t wait for the annual beauty trend show where I live, I’m getting my makeup done that day at Chanel, so excited! March 8th!

Have a review of Jardin Zen eyeshadow quad up as I’ve picked it up a few days ago and I can say the new formula of the baked quads is SPECTACULAR. 🙂

must have Charmeuse lipstick! WOW! It reminds me of my fav Lancôme shade of all time — ROMANCE — which was a LE and is now discontinued. I still have a little left at the bottom of the tube and have been to countless beauty counters looking for its match, always disappointed.

But just eyeballing this shade, it looks pretty darn close.

ps is this available at Nordstom too? when it says it is a limited edition available only at chanel.com, does that mean it will never be at Nordie’s and I must order it online at chanel.com if I am to have it?

Or does it mean it will eventually make its way to the dept stores that carry Chanel?

      thanks, dear Muse.

chanel’s PR team sent this yesterday stating it would exclusively be available at chanel.com so no where else just on their website. Hope this helps 🙂

yay! 😀 it’s always nice to find a shade we love by another brand 😀

Would you know if us Canadians will have access to this?

We can’t order off the Chanel site. BOooo

Chanel Exec was in town at Neiman Marcus. Said this would only be available at Chanel Boutiques and Chanel.com no stores 🙁

FYI – I finally got a response from Chanel to my query re: these new lipsticks’ availability at dept store counters in the future. The Chanel rep couldn’t (or wouldn’t?) tell me that they would never be available at dept stores. In fact, he hedged a bit.

I have a hunch that they will be available at dept stores in the future — but for the time being they are only at Chanel.com.

I dunno I talked to chanel pr and they are pretty adamant these are exclusive to chanel.com but I sure hope that isn’t the case would be nice to swatch in store!
