Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadow Review & Swatches
Get ye to Ulta and grab some cheap Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadow! If you told me yesterday that $2.99 Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadow would rock my socks I might not have believed you but these shimmering eyeshadows are all the rage here at Musings Headquarters and I demand you grab some yourself.
Promise, no frosty fall out metallic shadow here just smooth gorgeous sparkling color!
Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadow are a metallic finish shadow available in five shade selections. At first glance they actually look like some sort of cream glitter eyeshadow kinda like the Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers Glitter Palettes. This did worry me because that’s a whole lot of glitter….! But actually they are powder and all that hardcore glitter you see on top is simply an over spray. You can see below where I swatched it away!
Under all the glitter is a very soft, easy to blend eyeshadow that has a faint metallic sheen on lids. I heard them described as chalky, flaky, etc…but I honestly didn’t experience that. I thought the velvety texture of the shadow was very nice and I had no issues with fall out. The shadow applies easily and they have a super crease-free finish on my drier eyes without eyeshadow primer! The pigment is rather excellent on these little guys as well.

I mean for $2.99 I can’t complain about a single thing here. They aren’t a full metallic finish but they do quite remind me a little bit of the Cargo Metallico Eye Kit shadows! I’m quite alright with the metallic sheen versus the full on metallic finish as typically metallics are a bit frosty on me. These have a lovely finish with just a touch of a metal sheen!
Overall, if you’re looking for a cheap thrill I’d say Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadow delivers it! Great beauty budget pick up!
