Febreze Wax Melts Quick Review

Febreze Wax Melts

I know, I know! It isn’t beauty but I recently tried out the Febreze Wax Melts aka Tarts and I thought I’d give you a little info on these.

You might recall I told you about Glade Melts when they launched earlier in the Fall. I tried the Glade ones in a variety of fragrances but they are hecka weak…! Or my nose is broken.

I was skeptical about the Febreze Wax Melts due to this but…

GOOD NEWS! They are fab! I grabbed them recently in Nectar and two cubes had a strong throw and a nice linger after! If you’ve never used wax melts before you pop them into a something called a tart warmer which has a spot for a tealight under a bowl which you place the tarts in. Simply pop a tart in, light the tealight, and as the wax melts down it releases a lovely fragrance.

Febreze Nectar Wax Melts

Nectar is a fruity floral scent…you get a bit of citrus, strawberry, and hints of floral notes. It’s quite sweet and lovely!

I was speaking to my reader/friend Jackie on Twitter when these originally launched and she had said she thought them a bit weak but I was relieved when I tried Nectar that it had such a good strong throw!

So if you’ve been a bit wary to try these because you were burned by the Glade ones (which had such potential!) don’t be shy, they are quite good!

You won’t be disappointed!

These are available now at mass retailers like Walmart and Target.

“burned” by the Glade ones? Grooooaaannn…… 😀

Actually, sometimes weaker ones are kinda nice, if it’s a small room. I’ve had some of the BHG ones that damn near drove me out of the room they were so strong!

they are nice in a smaller room…but my nose is somehow broken I swear because I can barely smell them! ;-D

How much do these retail for? I’m surprisingly impressed by the Better Homes & Gardens ones, which are only $2 each, so these definitely have to be as amazing as you described if they cost much more than that 🙂

I bought this scent in the spray form and love it so I may go back and get some melts.

I also got one of the Glade melt packs and like it a lot (it’s red but I do not remember the name, tropical something). The Glade melt I got is now one of my all time fav summery scents of any brand.

Oh this is interesting. I wonder if these will work in my scentsy. I’m pretty stocked up so i haven’t ordered in a year. and now that im also burning candles, they seem to last a lot longer.

You should try to get your hands on some of the melts from Doodlebug Candles. I recently got some from a friend and they were terrific and soy
