Lancome Visionnaire 1 Minute Blur

If you’re a Sephora VIBer you can grab Lancome Visionnaire 1 Minute Blur ($55) as an early purchase at Sephora.com!

Lancome Visionnaire 1 Minute Blur is a new oil-free lightweight facial primer or as Lancome calls it a skin finisher that blurs the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and pores.

It’s enriched with Photosmooth optical technology that leaves skin with a velvety matte flawless finish.

I got the chance to try out a sample of Lancome Visionnaire 1 Minute Blur and really loved it. It’s what I had hoped LOreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Pore Vanisher and Garnier Skin Renew 5 Second Blur Instant Smoother would be like!

Lancome Visionnaire 1 Minute Blur swatches

This is an oil-free facial primer that can be used as the last step in your skincare routine after moisturizer and sunscreen and prior to makeup to prep skin. I don’t really have visible pores or finer lines on my face. I do struggle with visible pores on my nose and finer lines under my eyes but none the less I prep with a facial primer daily to extend the wear of my foundation and makeup and also just to give me my complexion or more refined and finished appearance.

Lancome Visionnaire 1 Minute Blur is what I look for in a facial primer as it is silicone based but also has a creamier texture. This has a subtle rose scent and quite reminds me of LOreal Revitalift Oil Free Miracle Blur Instant Skin Smoother on many levels. The texture blends easily into my drier skin and has a slightly slick feel as I apply. It creates a soft, semi-matte finish for makeup to adhere to. I think if you have normal, combination, or drier skin it should curb shine but those with oily skin might feel it doesn’t mattify enough. It completely blurs the appearance of the visible pores on my nose and gives my entire complexion a more refined appearance.

I really like the effects of this but it might slightly be confusing to some as the call it a smoothing skincare instant perfector. It seems like they are implying it is a treatment of sorts when in fact it only primes and minimizes the look of pores and fine lines but doesn’t treat them.

I liked it a lot but the $58 price tag is a little high particularly when L’Oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur has the same great benefits at bit of a cheaper price tag. However, I do think that this has a creamier texture in comparison!

If you’re looking for something to give your complexion a more refined appearance, something that perfects and minimizes finer lines or visible pores Lancome Visionnaire 1 Minute Blur does indeed get the job done. I just wish it was a little cheaper!

It’s available now at Sephora and Sephora.com.

I have the L’oreal Mircale and it does just fine. This price tag is insane for sure, I know I won’t be buying this. I like the Chanel primer with spf 30, rose scent and absorbs fast well worth the money in my opinion.

There are sooo many products by Lancôme that are nearly identical to L’Oréal… I was using Teinte Idole for a while, but ran out and needed something until I could replace it. I ended up with Visible Lift, and it was nearly *identical*! Needless to say, I switched. Also, the La Base primer was identical to the L’Oréal Smoothing Face Primer. I love Lancôme, but I love saving money, more! It doesn’t surprise me that this is similar to Miracle Blur.

Visionnaire blur does actually also treat fine lines and minimizes pores over time BC it contains the same active ingredient in the visionnaire serum. So its a primer that acts like skincare. Very different than just a primer.

    Thanks for your review!
Does it leave a layer like the pore minimisers/reducers ?

I like the kind of primer like Guerlain’s Or in it’s feeling, it goes into the skin and dont leave any layer. But I dont feel any real efficiency about this, it’s just a pleasure to apply, great sent, great texture, but that’s all, so i think i wont buy it again.
I have issues with Lancôme and Estee Lauders cause some of their produits left a layer on the skin. So if this goes into the skin without to leave a layer, than this would be a HG product !

    XOXO

I find that with silicone-based primers, my pores are really clogged after I remove my makeup! So I tried not using the silicone-based primer, and my pores don’t seem as congested. Do you experience that too? I have an oily T zone!

Too much like the Loreal blur products minus the rose scent which makes sense but might as well get it at the drug store for less.

Much as I love Lancome, the original Visionnaire serum and the Teint Visionnaire foundation broke me out very badly. However, this sounds a lot more oil-free and I’m sucker for any primer that can keep me matte, since my pores produce more oil than some Middle Eastern countries; I’ll make sure I ask for a sample and keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks for reviewing this! I currently use Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Light, and was considering trying this. I have combo skin with some visible pores on the nose and cheek area. Would you say this is comparable? I love your blog by the way! I can always count on you to review the newest products.

thanks Alexa I’m so glad you enjoy Musings of a Muse. I’d likely recommend 1 Minute Blur for a drier, aging skin type with less visible pores. If you have visible pores on your cheeks I think you’ll likely do better with Photo Finish as it’ll fill those areas a bit more versus the blurring effect that this provides. The texture of Photo Finish is considerably heavier which means it conceals a bit more!

This product is not only a great primer but it DOES have treatment in it as well..
it contains vitamin cg and a form of retinol

“It’s enriched with Photosmooth optical technolog” AKA silicone? I don’t even read the advertising lines anymore since they’re so full of crap. Just ingredients!

I bought this. I like it, but not $55 worth of like ability. Looking over the reviews, it looks like the loreal one is worth a shot. Especially since CVS has $10 extra bucks on a $30 loreal
    purchase.
