Olay Fresh Effects Eye Awakening Cream Review & Swatches
Olay Fresh Effects Bright On Schedule Eye Awakening Cream is one of several brand new Fresh Effects Skincare products launching now at drugstores.
Being an eye cream junkie Olay Fresh Effects Eye Awakening Cream seemed like a great pick up for giving my tired eyes a quickie peek up!
Take a look!
Olay Fresh Effects Eye Awakening Cream at first glance looks like a rollerball treatment but actually it is an eye cream. This comes housed in a squeeze tube and finishes a cooling rollerball head for application. The tri-roller ball actually allows you to massage the cream under your eyes and the coolness from the roller helps decrease natural puffiness due to lack of sleep. This is infused with white tea, cucumber, and most importantly one of the main ingredients is niacinamide aka B3.
Niacinamide has shown some evidence of stimulating cells to produce more collagen as well as improving drier skin by increasing ceramides so it is a handy ingredient to have in your eye treatments and creams.
Honestly, Olay Fresh Effects Bright On Schedule Eye Awakening Cream isn’t a cure all for my aging, drier eyes but it is a nice pick me up in the AM. It’s a cool lightweight eye cream that absorbs easily and leaves the delicate skin around eyes pleasantly moist and hydrated. It also quite good at decreasing some of my less than 8 hours of sleep puffiness! I like this for quickie hydration in the AM but I do need to follow up with a richer eye cream after for a bit more moisture.
If you’re eyes are younger this a nice wake up eye cream! It’ll provide moisture, decrease some puff, and even eyes a nice prep for concealer and other makeup.
Sometimes I’m in a rush and going minimal in that cases this is enough moisture to get me through a busy day and a minimal makeup look! However, I do need something a bit richer if I’m doing a fuller makeup look with heavier concealer etc…!
Olay Fresh Effects Eye Awakening Cream is a nice treat for younger eyes and older ones that want minimal no nonsense eye cream in a snap!
