100 Percent Pure Fruit Pigmented Long Last Concealer Review & Swatches
100 Percent Pure Fruit Pigmented Long Last Concealer ($21) is one of two new concealers that 100% Pure introduced a few months ago. I’ve had some really great luck with some of 100% Pure Cosmetics like their blushes, eyeshadow sticks, etc…so I was quite excited about the launch of these new concealers.
Hey, not only because I like the brand but also I’m a total concealer h0r as we all know.
Take a look!
I recently reviewed the 100 Percent Pure Fruit Pigmented Brightening Concealer which disappointed me and I hate to say it but 100 Percent Pure Fruit Pigmented Long Last Concealer was equally disappointed.
Le sigh!
Unlike the Brightening formula the Long Last Concealer comes housed in a small pot with a mirror. I do dislike the fact that most all 100% Pure Products have a six month expiration period. I should say that once opened you have six months to use the product before it spoils, perhaps the formula goes off, etc…..! A reader recently commented to correct me on this and said this was the “sell-by date” but this made little sense to me. I’ve always used those “open container” images with the 6m (or 12m, 24m) as an expiration date of sorts. So I hope that makes things a little clearer about the expiration date I mentioned.
This formula starts off dense but once warmed up it has a more emollient and thicker creamier texture. Although I would not compare it to formulas like Bobbi Brown Concealer. The consistency is considerably thinner when compared to thicker creamier concealers like Bobbi’s or even Laura Mercier. It does have a cardboard-like fragrance that is very noticeable during application.

It doesn’t blend very well for me as it has no real moisture. It almost feels like I’m applying some sort of liquid plastic under my eyes as it drags and pulls during the blending and has a mannequin-like finish on the set that isn’t terribly flattering under my drier, finely lined eyes. During the wear it does crease and creep into my finer lines and fades at around the five hour mark.
I’ve always associated 100% Pure Cosmetics with tons of pigment but this concealer has a way of sheering out as you apply resulting in little coverage. It’s good for a younger set of eyes but my own tired, puff, finely lines eyes need way more coverage.
Overall, 100 Percent Pure Fruit Pigmented Long Last Concealer just wasn’t a formula I liked. I really expected something way better as the brand excels at creating some great color product as well as terrific base products as well but the concealers just aren’t doing it for me.
