Bobbi Brown Nectar & Nude Lipgloss Review & Swatches
Bobbi Brown Nectar & Nude Collection includes two new shades of Bobbi Brown Lipgloss as well as a new shade of Bobbi Brown High Shimmer Lipgloss.
So far, I think the store of the Nectar & Nude Collection was Hibiscus Pot Rouge so if you haven’t snatched it up yet might I recommend you do so!?
Let’s take a look at the Bobbi Brown Nectar & Nude Lipgloss shades.
From this collection I think Bobbi Brown Bare Peach High Shimmer Lipgloss is probably my favorite. I like Bobbi’s High Shimmer Lipgloss formula anyway so a new shade works for me. This is of course, very, very sheer and provides a ton of sparkle on lips. It’s a golden beige with heavy golden shimmer in the mix. Unfortunately due to the sheerness you might not need it! It looks beautiful over a peach or coral lipstick or stain to add a sparkly finish to lips. It’s not terribly sticky and has a nice wear time of around three and a half hours for me.
Bobbi Brown Nectar Lipgloss and Bobbi Brown Nude Pink were a little disappointing for me. These are a cream finish that would work best on those with less pigmented lips. My lips are a rosy pink already so applying these on top I get sheerer color and they aren’t nearly as pigmented as they appear in the tube. I think if you have paler lips you might be able to see the color a bit more. Both shades are lovely particularly Nude Pink which is a dusky peach beige but unfortunately it is barely noticeable on my lips and adds shine but not a ton of color.

Unfortunately the Bobbi Brown Nectar & Nude Lipgloss Collection kinda disappointed me. They sure do look pretty in the tube and swatch beautifully but most will find they apply sheerer. So don’t be swayed at the counter and buy them on a whim! These need a test out before a purchase.
Anyone haul any of these shades?
