Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick Review & Swatches

Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick3

Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick ($25) is a new beautifully pigmented lipstick with moisture enriched pigments to provide not only beautiful color but hydration as well.

These are formulated with Elizabeth Arden’s own Volulip that helps seal in moisture and give lips more volume and firmness.

Let’s take a look!

Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick is one of my newest favorite lipstick formulas. It’s actually not as slick as one would expect a hydrating lipstick would be but it has a very soft, buttery texture that feels incredible on lips. The longer I wear it the nice my lips feel after!

These have a smoother, easy glide on lips with a super creamy texture that packs pigment and leaves opaque coverage on a single application. They aren’t terribly slick but they have a buttery formula that glides on without tugging or dragging. Color lasts for a full five hours without fading, migrating, or drying out. They feel slightly balm on first application but remain weightless and comfortably plush as the wear progresses. Though the wear my lips feel quite nourished which is odd because the satin finish kinda feels a little dry but none the less they feel incredible and look even better thanks to the intense color pay off of the shades.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. These are both sooo pretty, especially Sunburst! Elizabeth Arden is such an underrated brand overall, and I’m so happy to see some reviews. I keep forgetting about some of my EA products, but I think I should pull them out.

sunburst is really a fab shade 😀 do it, EA is so underrated that sometimes I forgot about the great pieces I have too 😀

Is it just me or does the case look a bit like a golden tardis? 🙂 I know it’s the EA Red door thingy, but for the life of me, I can’t make it not look like the tardis! 😀

hahaha! I thought the golden TARDIS was just me! so glad that I’m not alone in my fandom!

beautiful colors too bad they didn’t come sold together. Very versatile shades, one is very fall and the other very spring/ summer.

Moisturizing? Sounds like my kind of lipstick! Any fragrance or flavor?

The mocha shimmer looks beautiful on you! Thanks for the review – these sound great & I will definitely check these out this weekend.

“Muse” I don’t know what I’d DO without you! I’ve been reading your blog for many years but I don’t think I’ve commented before (at least not for a long long time). You have no idea how much you’ve helped me purchase products I love. I had my eye on this Sunburst lipstick, but I wasn’t sure about purchasing it till I saw your review. It looks so beautiful on you. I may have to spring for the Mocha lipstick as well…it’s just so pretty. Does it remind you of Laura Geller Tropics lipstick? (A favorite you turned me on to several years ago that has sadly been discontinued).

awwwwwwwwww thank you Shani! this made my day sorry for the delayed reply! 😀 thank YOU so so much I’m so glad you enjoy Musings of a Muse! haha good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mmm not reallly! I think the tropics was a unique shade that I haven’t really been able to duplicate unfortunately! It was so gorgeous! I loved the gloss too! Sadness that it is long gone 🙁 if I ever run across a copy of that one I’ll be sure to let you know!
