Eve Lom Brilliant Cover Concealer1

I’ve found my Summer concealer and it’s Eve Lom Brilliant Cover Concealer ($40 for 0.07 oz)! This lightweight concealer packs an SPF 15 in a thin yet hydrating formula that offers beautiful brightening coverage for my under eyes.

Do love it!

As a girl who’s used to piling on highly pigmented concealers, hello there It Cosmetics Bye Bye Concealer I’m talking to you, I do like to lighten the load when the warmer weather starts to roll in. For one thing my eyes aren’t as dry in the Summer and my skin has produces a bit more oil. But more importantly I don’t want a heavy duty concealer as I prefer going lighter with my makeup especially base products like concealer and foundation.

Eve Lom Brilliant Cover Concealer is a beautifully formulated concealer perfect for the warmer weather.

Shade Linen swatched and shown above

Launching in six shades Brilliant Cover Concealer is a smooth, creamy yet thinner consistency that has light diffusing ingredients to give eyes a soft focused finish. No sparkle here kids, no shimmer, or mica, just beautiful brightening that give eyes a soft, brighter, fresher look. I don’t necessarily suffer from major dark circles but I do have tired eyes with puffiness and finer lines and of course, most important dryness. This formula has plant extract with act to renew and repair wrinkles during the wear supposedly. For me it feels like it covers and fills those finer lines while easing the look of puffiness. It just adds a certain youthful radiance under my eyes.

The soft formula blends easily and wears for around five hours before I see some minor fading but no creasing or caking. The formula is supposed to act to perfect and I feel like it truly excels at this. Coverage is sheerer so it won’t hide major dark circles but if you suffer from simply aging eyes this renews them and gives them a more youthful look.

There are many concealer products that offer a more emollient formula with pigmented coverage such as from Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier. Both of which are two brands I use myself. However, I know some people feel these formulas are TOO thick, too creamy, and perhaps even a bit too tacky. In that case you’ll likely love the thinner yet creamier formulation that Eve Lom injects into their Brilliant Cover Concealer.

This is more the my eyes but better looking concealer. It hides minor imperfections, brightens, and creates a softer, softer appearance under eyes with a touch of coverage that makes it an ideal pick for lighter concealing yet plenty of eye perfecting action.

Do like!

This is a beautifully texture concealer that gives me the appearance of eight hours of sleep when I’ve only had four.

It launches shortly on counters.

This looks super hydrating which the eye area always needs. I love the compact packaging, very similar to the new Estee Lauder concealer they launched last fall.

I have moderate dark circles under eyes but at the age of 54 yrs I need moisturizing products. I’m currently using Lancôme anti-cernes undereye concealer. Does this concealer provide more coverage than my current concealer?

I am a fan for your great reviews and I would like to know how this concealer compares to Shills’s Closer to You which you also highly recommended for its texture, color and SPF.

thanks Marie! really glad you enjoy my reviews. not sure on the color considering Eve Lom is offered in several shades and Shills only offers a single shade so can’t compare as I don’t have every single shade of the Eve Lom to compare to but this shade isn’t like the Shills one. The formulas are quite different. Shills is creamy, emollient and more pigmented…this is a bit sheerer, a little denser, and brightens considerably. Hope this helps.

I don’t like this product at all.
After some time my under eye area starts to look tired and puffy.
    Horrible brand in general.
