The warmer weather is trying to make an appearance so Eve Lom Sheer Radiance Transculent Powder ($48) can join my daily makeup regime as I’ll need it when my face starts to get a little oily (although for the most part I’m as dry as the desert lately no matter what I do!). I actually wore as a foundation of sorts above because it looked so beautiful on its own!

Let’s take a look!

Recently the Eve Lom Radiance Collection launched for Spring 2014 and with it this new Sheer Radiance Transculent Powder/

This comes housed in a portable easy flow brush which makes it fantastic for travel. Simply twist up and brush the powder on as it flows directly from the super soft bristles of the brush.

The fine, silky texture is completely weightless and has tiny light diffusing particles that reflect light and give skin a soft-focused effect. It also supposedly contains a fruit stem cell extract that gives it a hydrating for so skin is left soft but the powder never clings to drier areas or accentuates flakiness, dryness, or pores.

It’s actually one of those nice powders you can use on bare skin to create a soft flawless natural look with a little blush on top. I’m using it below with a little blush and a lighter eye look. I used Eve Lom Flawless Radiance Primer first and just dusted the powder gently onto my face before applying blush as seen in my above photo. So it kinda looks like a lightweight foundation of sorts. My forehead is a bit oily lately so this mattified the area nicely while giving my entire complexion a soft, even appearance.

Of course, it’s main use is to set your makeup. It does an excellent job of toning down dewy foundations and provide a soft, silky, supple look to skin without clinging to drier areas if you have them. It’ll work to mattify but won’t look dry. The natural finish is what draws me to the product as I typically avoid setting with powder because my drier skin dislikes it. However, the soft, silkiness of this rivals my favorite Clarins Poudre Multi-Eclat Mineral Loose Powder.

If you’re shopping for new setting powders or a setting powder that acts as lightweight coverage to even skin tone and create a brighter appearance I’d highly suggest trying Eve Lom Sheer Radiance Transculent Powder.

It’s available shortly at Barneys.com.

Muse you look beautiful!!! The minimal makeup look is gorgeous on you!

And, I had never even heard of Eve Lom until today. Probs not gonna be able to find in Canada, but hey, I can always hunt it out when I’m in the US next!

PS, I’m not sure if you know about it, but at least on my computer (Windows 7 and Firefox) your blog’s formatting is being a bit crazy – content is flying over top of the rest of the layout and I don’t know where the header went. It fixes itself when I refresh a couple times, though.

thanks Andrea! You’re too kind! 😀 Ugh sorry…….! I had thought this issue was cleared up. I just dumped my server cache can you try clearing your browser cache and tell me if it still happens? Also what ads might be running when the issue pops up (it’s likely ad related). I’m so sorry about that! If you can email me a screenshot that would be helpful too!

Thank you for the quick reply! 🙂 and clearing the cache doesn’t appear to have helped, I’m emailing you a screenshot right now. And no need to apologize, these things happen!

I think you look great with this product. I love the packaging so compact and all together, this would be handy for traveling. I just recently bought LA MER’s powder, and I like it, and the container is huge so it should last a long time. I’ve never tired any Eve Lom product before.

thanks Ashley! yeah, I have the la mer and damn that thing is massive haha!

It looks flawless on you! Wasn’t very drawn towards these initially (brush + powder applicator feels like a mess to me) but now you’ve got me thinking otherwise!
