Too Faced Something About Berry Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush Review & Swatches
Too Faced Something About Berry Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush ($30) is one of two brand new permanent shades of Sweethearts Perfect Blush that launched with the Too Faced Spring 2014 Collection.
I actually wasn’t a fan of the original shade that Too Faced had released with their Spring 2013 fan nor did I like the other shade from this release entitled Peach Beach but I’m here to say I love Something About Berry!
Too Faced Something About Berry Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush reminds me of a more pigmented version of Bobbi Brown Wild Rose Shimmer Brick.
This comes housed in a darling heart shaped compact and yes, the blush is also heart shaped! Cutes!
The blush is made of three gradating shades of blush including a shimmering mauve, a golden peach, and a shimmery magenta pink that swirled together create a luminous glowing pink on cheeks. It is quite shimmery so blend, blend, blend, and blend some to get rid of some of the excess shimmer. I personally like it because it is shimmer and isn’t as frosty as the original shade or Peach Beach. I also like it because it’s considerably more pigmented than those two shades. The other shades cling to my drier areas where as this has a smoother, softer finish.
Peach Beach and Something About Berry
This a baked formula with a silky formula but it has a slightly scratchy texture when you’re swatching it with your finger. The color is a bit powdery as it does kick up a good deal of product as you swirl your brush in it but it isn’t chalky. It wears for me for about five hours and fades slightly at hour six. This is actually longer wear that I got when compared to the other two colors.
Overall, I love Too Faced Something About Berry Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush! It renewed my faith product because my experience with the other shades was less than stellar. This adds a delightful luminous pink to my cheeks so it looks like I’m glowing!
