Hard Candy Take Me Out Liner Review & Swatches

Hard Candy Take Me Out Liner Eyeliner

Hard Candy Take Me Out Liner ($5) is a cheap thrill if you’re in the market for a budget eyeliner. Granted these aren’t the best formula but they come in some fun shades like Vice (aqua blue) which isn’t a shade you commonly can pick up at the drugstore.

Check it!

Hard Candy Take Me Out Liner packaging def annoys me slightly as they are made a bit bulky my a larger cap that doubles up as a sharpener. Granted, I admit, whenever I need an eyeliner sharpener I can never freaking find one. Sod’s law.

But I dislike one attached to the cap of my liner as it makes things bulk and difficult to store and HELL if I’m really being honest I happen to be an anal somewhat OCD freak so this shape isn’t in uniform with my other eyeliner pencils and my world is off kilter because of it.

They call these creamy but they do run drier and have a hint of sparkle which means waterlining is a no no especially if you’re sensitive. They kinda bring me back to the Tony and Tina Eyeliner days…god, that brand made some brilliant sparkly eyeliners! At first I felt the formula tugged terribly and quite dry however, after warming up they do have a bit of a better glide. I picture oily lids loving this formula! I picture drier ones screaming in horror. I suggest drawing a line on the back of your arm and going over it a few times to warm the formula up. They actually stick around nicely once applied….! I can get all day wear without fading or flaking or migration etc…

They aren’t really the best eyeliner in the world but they aren’t the worst either. If you’re looking for a few “fun” shades you might want to grab one or two as they won’t break your wallet!

Grab ’em at Walmart or Walmart.com.

Tried ’em already?!
