Majolica Majorca Honey Plump Gloss Neo has two new shades for Spring 2014 that just recently launched in Japan. I’m a huge fan of Majolica Majorca but in recent years I haven’t been hauling as much of it as I find some of the limited edition items a bit repetitive.
I think I have most every shade of Majolica Majorca Honey Plump Gloss Neo from the permanent collection and something just led me to grab up the newest Spring shade OR202.
I’m sure glad I did as it is quite delightful!
Majolica Majorca OR202 Honey Plump Gloss Neo is a gorgeous nude orange. Typically Asian brands over do orange to a point I can’t really wear them and not in the sense that they are too bold or bright. Typically they are duller and a bit on the dirty side thus they kinda suck the glow from my complexion. This goes for gloss and blushes (blushes particularly).
However, they obviously did something right because OR202 is a refreshingly lovely nude orange that leaves leaves with a simple, natural finish! This is a lovely color that adds a hint of sheer tint to lips with a highly glossy finish.
Honey Plump Gloss Neo are typically shimmer and sparkle free with a clear finish and very little color. OR202 is more translucent with nice hint of tint.
The formula has a plush texture with a cushy feel on lips that lightweight without being sticky or tacky. It’s fragrance and flavor free as well for those sensitive. It wears for a nice three hour period and keeps lips pleasantly hydrated throughout that period. I like how these make my lips look full and plump but there isn’t any stinging effect it’s just a naturally thicker, cushion-y gloss. This provides a nice glossy look as well!
If you’re just getting into the Honey Plump Gloss Neo formula I think OR202 is a nice showcase for the formula. Don’t get me wrong the original shades are lovely but I think OR202 is quite lovely with a nice hint of tint the originals lack.
A friend of mine in Japan grabbed this for me but Adambeauty.com will likely start carrying the MJ Spring 2014 Collection shortly!
