Majolica Majorca Perfect Automatic Liner Review & Swatches
I’m doing my best Lady Vengeance intimation this week with this new, limited edition Majolica Majorca Perfect Automatic Liner shade in RD303. This metallic cranberry shade was released with the Majolica Majorca Spring 2014 Collection in Japan earlier this year.
Take a peek!
I typically avoid Majolica Majorca Perfect Automatic Liner because it’s so wet! Yak! They have some really great shades but it is a thicker formula with a precise tip but you have to click to allow the liner to follow into the brush which means it comes out in a thick goopey, gooey, wet mess. I swipe excess off on a tissue but it always seems so wasteful!
This is a slimmer liquid eyeliner with point, dense brush application and a click twist pen mechanism that allows liner to follow into the brush. The formula is quite thick for liquid liner and takes several seconds up to a minute or two to dry down and set. During that time I find I can’t blink or move or attempt anything else as it will smudge and migrate around my eye if I am not careful. Wear time is fairly good on my drier eyes at around 8 hours without fading or flaking away.
RD303 is a limited edition shade which is a very lovely metallic cranberry. It was a hard one to resist! You can smudge it out along your lash line to create a really pretty look but be careful if you do as it does smear around in a messy manner. Or you can embrace the new double lining trend by applying black eyeliner and this red on top of the black (not over it but above it).
I loved the shade so much I was tempted to purchase a back up!
Majolica Majorca Perfect Automatic Liner is far from perfect formula wise..it’s just a little to messy of a liquid liner in my experience but the color is brilliant and worth a pick up if you like shades like this.
I grabbed mine from a friend who lives in Japan but I believe Adambeauty.com is stocking it as well!
What sorts of reds or cranberry shades do you like wearing?
