Revlon Sparks Fly Super Lustrous Lip Gloss Review & Swatches

Revlon Sparks Fly Super Lustrous Lip Gloss

The Amazing Spiderman 2 is coming to theaters soon and Revlon Sparks Fly Super Lustrous Lip Gloss arrives along with it as the Revlon Electric Chrome Spider-Man Collection launches at drugstores.

Revlon Sparks Fly Super Lustrous Lip Gloss is one of three limited edition shads of gloss launching with this Spring 2014 Collection that is inspired by the Spiderman movie and its characters.

Take a look!

Revlon Sparks Fly Super Lustrous Lip Gloss is a warm glittering fiery orange red. It’s stunning in the tube to say the least. This comes across as a super glossy red with hint of orange to it on lips. I actually get a good deal more red than orange once I apply it which disappointed me slightly as I love me a burnt orange lipgloss shade! This is laced with golden sparkle but it doesn’t translate to lips as heavy as it does in the tube so I get a good deal of glossiness but not a ton of shimmer. Nor does it leave shimmer behind when color wears away. Sparks Fly isn’t fully opaque on a single application but built up it produces a nice layer of color.

Revlon Lustrous Lip Gloss has a nice hydrating feel without being stick or tacky with a lightweight, glossy finish. I find the formula is very comfortable to wear as it lends a nice moisture to my drier lips. The gloss sticks nicely without migrating. Funny thing as I have a few of these and none are nearly as gloss as Sparks Fly so that’s definitely an improvement. They wear for about two to three hours and I need a touch up at around hour three as color and shine begins to fade. They do not have a flavor or fragrance that I detect.

The really nice thing about this collection is it is Spiderman themed so it has special edition packaging which includes a black top with a golden web decorating it. It’s understated but really cool none the less especially if you’re a Spidey fangirl or guy!

Revlon Sparks Fly

Revlon Sparks Fly Super Lustrous Lip Gloss is available for a limited time at drugstores. Lord knows it probably requires a back up just due to the fact it’s Spiderman themed.

Will you be hauling it?

I purchased this item.

That color looks so pretty on you, Muse! I will have to pick one up if I can find it…it’s always so hard to find LE items where I live though.

Will you show swatches of the other 2 glosses? I really wanna see them!

Heya Muse, how are you? 🙂

I’m so excited this! I hope the hood store around me gets this. I since it’s a Spiderman theme, I wonder if they’ll have the enemies Venom, Green Gobbling etc. Not just Spiderman, Peter Parker and Mary Jane. Eh. We’ll see!

hey there! I doubt it sadly but it would be nice to see 🙂 although I think they’d skip on Mary Jane it would be kinda insulting to Emma Stone hehe!

Reminds me a lot of a Lancôme gloss I have its called: glitterstick and I absolutely love it for the wow factor on top of any color, its pretty awesome.
