Sephora Divergent High Shine Lipgloss Review & Swatches
Sephora Divergent High Shine Lipgloss aren’t technically available on their own! Aw man! But you can pick them up along with three eyeshadow palettes and a cheek palette in the new Divergent Multi-Piece Collector’s Kit ($59.50) that launched at Sephora.com recently (in stores soon).
The Sephora Divergent Cosmetics Collection plays homage to book worms and geek fan girls and guys with a new collection of makeup inspired by the Divergent book come movie.
Inside the multi-piece kit you’ll find the Sephora Divergent High Shine Lipgloss in four shades looking all Hourglass Cosmetics dupe-like yes?
Take a peek!
There isn’t any double for under $60 bucks the Divergent Multi-Piece Collector’s Kit delivers a nice range of products plus the added benefit of owning a collector’s piece inspired by your favorite series of books.
Right down to the massive heavy cardboard box the collection comes in makes for a delicious visual for geeks and makeup junkies alike.
The set includes a range of products but today I’m just focusing on the four Sephora Divergent High Shine Lipglosses because I was asked about them the most. I’ll be reviewing the complete set shortly.
These are actually a spot on dupe for Hourglass Cosmetics packaging with a flat rounded tube. They have sponge applicators for application and all four shades come with this set.
- Natural Virtue
- Supreme Ritual
- Temptation’s Choice
- Fear Not
They do run sheerer with a light texture that isn’t sticky, tacky, or heavy. I find they need to be built for the best wear otherwise they lack shine and glossiness. However, after a few applications they look like very nice natural, nude lips which makes for a perfect companion to the natural shades of shadow also included in the set. Wear time is around two to three hours without eating or drinking.
I wouldn’t call them the best lipgloss I ever tried and I might run through them mighty fast due to the fact I’m applying about four layers of product for the best look. But they aren’t terrible either and fit right in with the nude look the collection is hoping to achieve.
The Divergent Cosmetics Collection is available now at Sephora.com.
