Sonia Kashuk Brush Couture Kabuki Brush

Looking for a pretty way to dust on your powder and bronzer? Sonia Kashuk has an app for that!

The Sonia Kashuk Brush Couture Kabuki Brush ($12.99) pops up for Spring 2014 with a whimsical camo print.

Take a peek!

I actually own several Sonia Kashuk Kabuki Brushes or bigger powder blushes. One of my favs is the Sonia Kashuk Silver Brilliance Kabuki Cosmetic Brush from Holiday 2010 which I use with all my powders especially La Mer’s Powder because that thing is massive and Sonia’s larger kabuki fits perfectly into the jar so I can swirl and tap for a sheer layer of powder.

This new Brush Couture Kabuki Brush is a smidge smaller with soft, silky bristles that are shed-free and a sturdy handle that features a whimsical Spring camo print in blues, purples, and greens.

It’s a little too larger for blush application in my humblest although it is recommended for use with blush. I typically use it for powder application and/or bronzer if I’m up for bronzer (rarely! ha!).

The bristles aren’t dense so it enables it to sheer powder out well which is excellent as I have drier skin so that’s ideal for me.

You might not necessarily need it of you already have a few of Sonia’s larger Kabuki Brushes as these are a seasonal release that she does often so if you follow the brand I’m sure you have one or several brushes like this already.

However, if you’re looking for a larger powder brush with softer bristles and a pretty printed handle this new brush is worth a pick up!

The Sonia Kashuk Brush Couture Kabuki Brush is available now at Target and Target.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Omg. HUGE fan of all Sonia Kashuk’s products, did you guys see her spring line yet? My local target just got it in! * I would love to see a review on a few of targets premium skin care brands, I am tempted to buy a few things from a line called Laneige!
