Tarte Fresh Eyes Maracuja Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover Wipes

Tarte Fresh Eyes Maracuja Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover Wipes ($12 for 30) apparently are good for eating as well as removing eye makeup. Just kidding…but they do smell good enough to eat! These have a beautiful tart sweet, candy-like citrus scent that’s positively addicting!

Loves it!

Each wipe also happens to be infused with Maracuja and considering you’re using them around your eyes this is a good thing as it’s rich in fat acids and vitamin C so it delivers some nice moisture as it swipes away your makeup!

Take a look!

Tarte Fresh Eyes Maracuja Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover Wipes are newly launched with the Tarte Summer 2014 Collection will be a permanent product.

These are a smaller wipe and there’s a reason for that as they aren’t for your face but merely your eyes. So I’d say they are about half the size of your standard makeup remover wipe but still generously sized for removing eye makeup. As I mentioned above they smell incredible….I’m not sure about sensitive skin users but I personally adore the fragrance on these. Tarte should make a perfume or a body mist scented like this because I’d buy it or better yet scent their Maracuja Oil like it!

Yesterday night I wore out heavier eyeshadow, mascara, and Urban Decay Black Velvet and Perversion on my waterline and eyes. These did a fairly good job wiping everything away however, I still had left over mascara that needed to removed with my regular eye makeup remover. But really, if you’re in a rush and just want to get into bed at the end of the night these little wipes will remove about 90% of your eye makeup with a few swipes.

They are a drier wipe which at first disappointed me but after trying them I realized this was better as I didn’t get cloudy vision or that weird oily film that some wipes tend to leave behind. They also made my eyes feel moist and supple after using them. I decided after removing all my eye makeup to use a second clean wipe to wipe under my eyes to add a little moisture to the area in preparation for my eye cream! It’s a rather nice moisturizing feel they leave behind!

Overall, Tarte Fresh Eyes Maracuja Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover Wipes are nice to have around when you’re just too lazy to remove your eye makeup at the end of the night. These are made for the chicks and dudes who just wanna crawl into bed at the end of a long night but hear their mother’s voice in their head telling them NOT to go to bed with their makeup on.

You can snag these now at tartecosmetics.com and they will launch soon at other locations like Sephora and Ulta.

Will you be checking them out?

Personally I like a product that does it all, not just one area. I hate having products pile up that only serve one purpose. I think I’ll pass on these.

I think I might need to try these out! I’ve been on the lookout for wipes to take with me when I travel. Unfortunately, it seems like the majority of drugstore wipes won’t remove waterproof makeup so I’ve been thinking about trying a more expensive brand. I’ve been unsure of which to try first so your post really helps! Thanks!

I do wish these were all over but I’m willing to give them a try. I don’t wear too much makeup otherwise

I just use coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil or the cleansing oils from garnier to smear all over my eyes and wash off with makeup removing cleanser xD since theyre oil and not .. oil soaked wipes(???), they’re really great at just melting off the eyemakeup in a snap! and not damaging your sensitive eye area either 😮
