Thank you makeup gods! Urban Decay Perversion is now available in a pot eyeliner! Urban Decay Super-Saturated Ultra Intense Waterproof Cream Eyeliner ($22) released with the Urban Decay Summer 2014 Collection will end my search for my HG gel eyeliner. The search is over love is right before my eyes with the new Urban Decay Ultra Intense Waterproof Cream Eyeliner, it’s a must have kids.

Urban Decay Super-Saturated Ultra Intense Waterproof Cream Eyeliner

Urban Decay Super-Saturated Ultra Intense Waterproof Cream Eyeliner is a rich, deep, blacker than black intense glossy gel eyeliner. This is basically Urban Decay Perversion 24/7 Eye Pencil but in a new format so if you prefer eyeliner in a pot versus a pencil you now have the option of either/or.

This has such an incredibly creamy texture that rival all and any pot eyeliners I’ve tried in the past not including and not limited to Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner and MAC Fluid line. If you’re not interested in splurging though you can get ALMOST the same goodness from L’Oreal Infallible Gel Lacquer Liner which is one of the best drugstore eyeliners I’ve had the pleasure of using.

But back to Urban Decay…!

It does take a sec or two to dry down but it’s not really a big deal as during that time I didn’t feel like it smudged! It just had that “wet” feel for a few seconds prior o drying down. It applies without tugging and glides onto your lash line skates on ice. No matter how dry your eyes are there isn’t going to be an issue with this applying perfectly every single time.

It’s strong wearing at around 12 hours without a smudging, fading, flaking, or creating raccoon eyes. It might be a little iffy for oily lids so if you’ve had issues with Perversion in the past as it does have a super emollient texture and if your eyes are oily it could sorta smudge out during application. In that case, you might want to go with the drier texture of Urban Decay’s new Black Velvet Eyeliner.

I do believe the formula is superior to many rich eyeliners. This is pigment rich with an excellent formula that will basically eliminate most of my pot eyeliners as I’ll likely reach for this first.

This also released with the new Urban Decay Perversion Angled Brush ($16) which is an angled brush for application. It’s a nice brush to indulge in as it creates quite straight, even lines but I’ll review it more in a later post.

Overall, Urban Decay Super-Saturated Ultra Intense Waterproof Cream Eyeliner gets a massive rave from me. This should be added onto your most wanted list immediately. It’s a one of the best pot eyeliners I’ve had the pleasure of using.

It’s available now at urbandecay.com and will launch shortly at Sephora, Ulta, etc…

STOP with the eyeliners already 😛 I have officially killed my mac blacktrack or fluid line whatever it was called. I wear it nearly daily so I might need a replacement LOL and this is close in price so I could justify it in my budget.. hmm decisions decisions.

Looks great! I prefer pot liners sometimes, I just feel there is more that I can do with them. Thanks for always being my source for what is hot and new out there 🙂

    • mandy

I’m actually going to sephora with my inglot liner to test this out! I haven’t found anythonly!ing darker than inglot as of now (and with it costing $12 you can’t beat it)

will definitely post what i find out! I’m dark skinned girl so I’m always looking for the blackest of the black liners!

  • Ashley

Too bad it didn’t come with the brush. My favorite is Estee Lauder’s because it comes with a small brush and using that brush makes all the difference in the world since its small and very precise. I myself like a thin line since I have deep set eyes. Any other colors that you know of? This product looks like quality and I love gel eyeliners because they last forever!

    • Isabella Muse

agreed! that would have been nice! if you’re looking for color mac fluidline is def the way to go!

  • Susan K

Can’t wait till they come out with more colors! Finding straight black a little harsh for my getting old face lately.

I haven’t tried this yet and am hoping to score a sample at Sephora. Like you, Muse, I am in LOVE with L’Oreal’s Infallible gel liner. Ever since I got it I haven’t touched my MAC Paint in Black Black because it’s so smooth. I still want this UD one though 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

I ADORE it 😀 isn’t it great?! can’t blame you! this one should go on the HG list in my humblest!

  • christina

Ohhh, I hope it will be available at Sephora soon so I can use my coupon!

    • April

Hahaha I was going to post that too! Please pop up on Sephora’s site so I can use my coupon! I might be broke, but I still need my makeup! lol

  • Mandi

How does it last on the waterline? That is my biggest hangup, I can never get anything to last or it ends up smudging on my contacts.

    • Isabella Muse

if you have drier eyes you’ll likely get at least five hours wear. Oily eyes might see a shorter wear.

  • anne

I really wanted to try this, as it looks like such a deep rich black. However i prefer matte, so i think il just get another of my bobbi brown instead.

  • cat

I feel like a weirdo but I’ve been testing the UD 24/7 pencil in Perversion and the Tarte gel liners and I kind of hate them both. They smudge like crazy on me. I look like a panda after a few hours. I’ll keep this one in mind but maybe I just have weird eyes and need to stick to Maybelline.

  • LP

Wow! I just picked this up at Sephora, and checked out the other UD liners. It happened to be really hot in the store. Perfect climate to test them. No smudging. Amazing! Just a hint of sparkle. I was tempted to pick up Ink for Eyes, but I don’t like a precise eye. I like a bit of smudge. All the Urban Decay liners seemed easy to work with. Thanks Muse. Now to find a bronzer without too much glitter.

  • Catluuvver

I know you are on vaca, hope you are having fun & getting some R&R. But please don’t forget about your review on the UD EL brush, pease. I’d love to hear Muse thoughts on it.

    Thank you!

Curious how this gel eyeliner has been holding up for you now that its been a few months? I was so impressed with mine…for the first 2 weeks…then I noticed a major texture change. i thought maybe it was my eyeliner brush going bad but I finally gave up and went back to a maybelline gel liner and i’m sad to say it was the UD liner. The gel seems to have stiffened up and gotten quite clumpy 🙁 Still in search of a new deep creamy black gel liner that maintains the creaminess.

    • Isabella Muse

so far so good sandra! no density, isn’t flaky and the formula is still quite creamy! I know what you mean though, I’ve had mac fluidline dry out badly on me :-/

  • zFashionizta

I purchased this one and returned it, I was not impressed at all, I kept the brush because that I did like.
The first time I used it when I tried to go over it to fix it or darken it, it would erase what I had already put on so I had to go over it with black eye shadow; the second time I used it I noticed it was looking kind of dry but wore it anyway and a few hours later I noticed it was flaking off and making quite a mess under my eyes.

  • Alison

I purchased this as soon as it was available at my Ulta and it has turned into my go to black liner. Mine is slowly starting to get to the point where it could use replacing but as I am scraping the bottom and using an old metal file to push what I have left into a pile big enough to dip my brush into I’m not upset or concerned. I have horrendously oily skin/lids and and this performs wonderfully on me. I didn’t have as much luck with the perversion pencil strangely enough. For whatever reason the pencil seemed to never quite set on me while this lovely cream liner sets up in very little time and lasts and lasts. It stays workable long enough for me to smooth my wing but not so long I am in danger of smudging my precious lines once I am happy with them. All in all an absolutely amazing liner. I would love to see them release more colors in this formula.

      • Alison

I am really hoping that’s what they are planning to do since they discontinued the liquid liner. I am hoping that heralds an expansion of this lovely cream formula. If so I may forgive them for cutting the liquid liner.
