Craving the Philosophy Pink Melon Sorbet Collection

Philosophy Melon Sorbet

Yup, I am indeed craving the Philosophy Melon Sorbet Collection! Let me start by saying I haven’t indulged in a Philosophy Shower Gel in literally ages. The thing is I have TOO many of them to use. It’s obscene the amount of shower gel particularly Philosophy ones I have. So I made a vow to myself NOT to indulge further until I finish up what I do have.

The good news is I’ve stuck to it for like a year and a half now. Yeah, I have so much shower gel I haven’t even used it all up in nearly a year and half. Oh lawd!

But I dunno…this new Philosophy Melon Sorbet is might tempting.

I think I might pacify myself by JUST indulging in the Pink Melon Sorbet Lip Balm, that’ll work right? If you recall Philosophy introduced Pink Almond Candy Lip Balm for Holiday 2013. This little balm was shaped like an EOS Lipshere with a dome shape. It was quite cute and quite different for Philosophy!

Needless to say I like they are keeping this on because they introduced a second lip sphere in this new Summer flavor.

Take a look!

Technically Philosophy isn’t giving away the deets about what Pink Melon might smell like! No notes are listed however, they do the recipe on the bottle is for a drink featuring watermelon and lime as well as sugar. So can I hope that this will smell like a sweet, sugary watermelon and lime tropical drink of sorts!?

One can hope as I’d like to put it out there to say I live lime and I love watermelon and together they likely rock!

The fragrance is available in:

  • Philosophy Pink Melon Sorbet Shampoo, Shower Gel, and Bubble Bath $17
  • Philosophy Pink Melon Sorbet Lip Balm $15
  • Philosophy Pink Melon Sorbet Whipped Body Souffle $22

I’ll lift the ban for myself and perhaps indulge in a little sniff but I promise not to indulge.

Maybe…

Kinda…

We’ll see!

Whatcha think?

Muse, you crack me up! I am a hoarder too of gels and lotions. What’s up with that? How many showers can we take in the next decade? I so get you on this, new scents keep coming out and you just have to try them. Right? If you’re willing to share, I’m curious how you store all of this stuff? I have a very large house and huge linen closets and I’m running out of space. It’s ridiculous. Not trying to pry into your personal space, was just wondering if you had any helpful ideas. Thanks!

lol I guess we have dreams to bath the planet? HA sounds like we could be twins. I, too, have a large house and I’m running out of space as well! I have two main living floors and also a furnished attic and furnished basement so that’s four floors with a ton of closet space/etc (I live in an older Victorian home) and I swear I should be qualified as a slight hoarder because as much as I give away there seems like more in its place EEP! :-D I actually don’t really have a system! If I see something is getting out of control I start donating like nobody’s business until the clutter is cleared up but sometimes I get a bit crazy with things like candles/shower gels.

I was like you, hoarding body wash, lotions, and scrubs. I finally decided I needed to just use them up. It took me THREE YEARS!!!! So one and a half doesn’t scare me. ;)

What I finally decided was that this stuff was going to go bad if I didn’t use it. So instead of using just enough to get the job done. You know, using “modest” amounts as us hoarders tend to do so it’ll last (as if we don’t have enough) I decided to use as much as I wanted. It’s not like it was hurting anything and that was around the halfway point. So even though I was slathering on tons of lotions, and using copious amounts of body wash for better bubbles I still had more than enough to last more than a year.

So I say use it up! Don’t scrimp and feel good every time you toss an empty bottle and enjoy the extra space on your shelf! When I only had a few bottles left it was such fun going to the different stores to decided what I was going to try after being forced to be brand loyal for so many years.

I think we should start a bodywash-hoarders-anonymous group. Hi, I am Cindy and I hoard bodywashes too. I didn’t buy it in a year. I have one witch I use and if I use that up I can start on another. Somethimes I smuggle a bit and give away bodywashes to friends. I don’t want to do this for three years :( I want to start on all that awsomeness in my cabinet. I already prommised myself to have one showergel and buy another if the first is empty. I am going to say it: I want to get rid of my stash.

Haha, count me in too! I have a closet full of Philosophy shower gels, they are the best! My husband thinks I’m insane because I have ten different shower gels in our shower at a time that I switch out every couple months (based on seasonal scents, of course!) I just love to have variety! :) I have been cutting back because I have way too many, but have you seen the new summer scents at Ulta?? The cupcake and sorbet sets sound so yummy!!
