Dr Jart BB Dis-A-Pore Beauty Balm is marketed as an innovative formula due to the fact it treats pores and blemishes with herbal extracts control excessive sebum.
I have drier skin that is combination in the warmer weather. Currently I’m seeing some of that combo skin come out to play with drier cheeks and oily forehead and chin area. The formula has a soft, silky set that isn’t dewy but not terribly mattifying either so if you are very shiny and oily this might not do a great job curbing that oily as the day progresses. For me it would probably be more suitable for those some oiliness as it does set to a powdery finish. It perfects skin beautifully by not only brightening but offering medium coverage when built. I don’t have larger pores but my skin looks very flawless and fresh in this plus the visible pores I do have on my nose are blurred completely away after an application of this do it does indeed do a great job with smaller visible pores.

On the down side I find the shade lighter than the typical light shade available in Dr Jart’s formulas. The shade is for air to light skin tones with neutral undertones but it does have a good deal of pink which makes it ideal for those with a cooler skin tone. Personally it was a bit pasty on me so I had to be sure to apply very little and had to blend very, very well to avoid this.
At some point I’m sure they’ll introduce it in a medium skin just as they did with other products in the line.
If you have combination skin with smaller visible pores and want lighter coverage that will fight some shine and oil while providing a brighter, fresher complexion you’ll like enjoy Dr Jart BB Dis-A-Pore Beauty Balm.
It’s available now at Sephora and Sephora.com.
