Escada Born in Paradise EDT Review

Escara Born in Paradise

I score the Escada Born in Paradise EDT ($75) recently because I love me some Escada perfume. This new Eau de Toilette for Spring 2014 had some delicious notes of watermelon, pineapple, coconut milk, seriously how could I resist?

Last year, Escada Cherry in the Air was a fond favorite of mine and I used it quite often (I have to be careful and reserve as it’s long since gone sob!) so I was excited when Escada launched Born in Paradise! I get terribly hyped about their seasonal releases.

If you love fruity florals this one will capture your heart.

Escada Born in Paradise EDT

Escada Born in Paradise Eau de Toilette is a tropical cocktail of island-y fruity sweet notes that gives this beautiful fragrance not only a Spring break feel but also a Summer one.

Escada Born in Paradise comes housed in a smooth, curvy azure shaded bottle with a exotic tropical bird gracing the bottle.

The fragrance starts out with fresh, fruity notes of pineapple, watermelon, and guava, The heart of the fragrance is a smooth, creamy coconut mixes with soothing Jasmine tea, sandalwood, and musk. It is full on sweetness at first spritz but dries down to a smooth, mellow coconut with playful note backdrops of pineapple and guava that come out to play often.

It may be an EDT but this formula has a strong wear and a long linger with the fragrance lasting for a solid five hours on me without morphing! It fades a bit around hour six but you’ll see capture the scent well into the 7th, 8th, and even 9th hour of wear.

As always Escada delights with their fragrances and Born in Paradise does not disappoint!

If you love sweet, fruity tropical fragrances I’m sure you’ll adore this lovely fragrance.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. I just ordered this one a little while ago from Ulta to take advantage of the 5 times the points for fragrance promo and the free beauty bag and the free full sized It’s a 10 leave in conditioner. It’s sound luscious!

Hey! I gotta tell you this – check with your local Kohl’s or even online ~ they have Cherry in the Air!!! I recently purchased some online and yep it’s the real thing :))) LOVE this fragrance. They also had the DKNY limited edition ones you posted about that were so drool-worthy, the Creamy Meringue, Tart Key Lime and Pink Macaron! I purchased a backup of the Creamy Meringue. It’s my favorite perfume 🙂

To stay on topic, I got a small travel size of this one and it’s soooo yummy, too… you just can’t lose with an Escada fragrance IMO 😀

GASP! they did!? thanks Missy! 😀 Now I have to go over there and not only grab a back up of cherry in the air but the DKNY ones ;-D I agree!!!!!!!

I saw the small spray bottle in my local Sephora not too long ago of Cherry in the Air. I got it for Christmas and I love it! I requested it on your recommendation 🙂

I bought it today! Because it’s yummiest sour scent ever and it lasts long time, not to mention the sillage. At first when I sampled it, I was like bleh, smells kinda cheap, but it lasted four hours, so I got to know it better. I also kept catching it from others and finally caved in. One sad thing is that it costs 74 euro which is quite steep… 75 usd is a fair price. Why do we have elevated prices on everything? ><

Love this bought the smallest bottle I could find for $58. Very unique scent. Love everything Escada comes out with.

I’ve been smelling this in the store for a month or so and I’m hooked. I haven’t been able to talk myself into the price tag. I’m okay with the roller-ball price but I can’t get my hands on it. It shows at a Sephora location locally and it’s not there :/. HOWEVER, it does have a stock of Cherry in the Air, which is my favorite still. Anything cherry and I’m hooked anyway, but Escada definitely has this one down. If you have any problems getting this online Muse, let me know and I’ll pick you some up locally and send them to you.
