Escada Born in Paradise EDT Review
I score the Escada Born in Paradise EDT ($75) recently because I love me some Escada perfume. This new Eau de Toilette for Spring 2014 had some delicious notes of watermelon, pineapple, coconut milk, seriously how could I resist?
Last year, Escada Cherry in the Air was a fond favorite of mine and I used it quite often (I have to be careful and reserve as it’s long since gone sob!) so I was excited when Escada launched Born in Paradise! I get terribly hyped about their seasonal releases.
If you love fruity florals this one will capture your heart.
Escada Born in Paradise Eau de Toilette is a tropical cocktail of island-y fruity sweet notes that gives this beautiful fragrance not only a Spring break feel but also a Summer one.
Escada Born in Paradise comes housed in a smooth, curvy azure shaded bottle with a exotic tropical bird gracing the bottle.
The fragrance starts out with fresh, fruity notes of pineapple, watermelon, and guava, The heart of the fragrance is a smooth, creamy coconut mixes with soothing Jasmine tea, sandalwood, and musk. It is full on sweetness at first spritz but dries down to a smooth, mellow coconut with playful note backdrops of pineapple and guava that come out to play often.
It may be an EDT but this formula has a strong wear and a long linger with the fragrance lasting for a solid five hours on me without morphing! It fades a bit around hour six but you’ll see capture the scent well into the 7th, 8th, and even 9th hour of wear.
As always Escada delights with their fragrances and Born in Paradise does not disappoint!
If you love sweet, fruity tropical fragrances I’m sure you’ll adore this lovely fragrance.
