Guerlain Meteorites Bubble Blush Review & Swatches
Guerlain Meteorites Bubble Blush ($42) is a new limited edition cream blush that launched with the Guerlain Meteorites Blossom Collection early this year in two shade selections.
It kinda reminds me of the new Philosophy Pink Melon Sorbet Lip Shine or the Body Shop Ginger Sparkle Lip Balm doesn’t it?
This is shaped like a lip balm but it’s all about cheeks!
Take a peek!
Guerlain Meteorites Bubble Blush is really a different product release for the brand! The cute, plastic packaging looks like something that you’d find from a beauty budget brand versus the high end luxury you’re used to from Guerlain. I must admit I like the kawaii aspect of this blush! I’m surprised we haven’t seen a ton of other brands copying the idea by now!

This comes in two shade selections one of which is Cherry that I’m featuring in my review. This is a cheery, bright shade of cooler fuchsia! It’s quite bright but you can sheer it out by applying with a fibre brush!
I actually went ahead and applied it directly to my cheeks as is without the use of a blush but this makes things difficult to blend. I’d recommend swirling a brush around the blush and applying that way. This also gives you more control over how much you apply. It has a satin finish but it feels sort of matte to me at times and almost dry. It’s not creamy at all! It has more of a powdery texture with absolutely no dewiness once applied. It wears quite long and strong on my drier cheeks at around seven hours before minor fading occurs at hour eight.
The best part?
The delightful traditional violet Guerlain scent that the blush carries. It smells incredible to say the least but the scent doesn’t last once applied so if you’re sensitive you should be a ok!
It’s a bit expensive but the Guerlain Meteorites Bubble Blush is a novel pick up for fans of the brand as it is quite a different product for Guerlain to release. Dare I say more cute and less serious!
Do like!
It is limited edition but I’ve seen it available on counters still and also online at www.bergdorfgoodman.com.
