Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip And Cheek Creamy Oil

If you only have money to buy one single makeup item this Summer please make it be the Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip And Cheek Creamy Oil because truly this is a must have Summer blush.

You NEED it!

Last year, Josie introduced her Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee so I didn’t expect a new blush product this year in all honesty.

Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip And Cheek Creamy Oil is my opinion is way better than the Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelees! I’m unsure if oily skin users will love these or those who dislike dewy blushes in general as they are a creamy oil product much like the Josie Maran Argan Infinity Cream Intensive Creamy Oil I recently reviewed. They simply took that formula and they tinted it so if you disliked that formula you might not love these blushes. Typically I dislike dewy blushes myself but these have such a radiant, healthy look on my cheeks I can’t deny that I fell hard for them!

These are available in six shades and I absolutely need ALL the colors. You can multitask with these so they can be used on lips and cheeks. Plus the fact they come in a squeeze tube so you aren’t grossed out to use them on both your cheeks and your lips. I’m kinda grossed out by stick blushes with a multitasking formula as I dislike using them on my lips and proceeding to use them on my face. I do not however, mind a cool squeeze tube! They have a sweet orange taste and fragrance that’s very pleasant as well.

If you have drier, flakier skin you’ll love how moisturizing these! They don’t feel greasy to me and leave behind a touch of a dewy glow on cheeks with healthy, very, very natural color. The formula is a creamy gel consistency much like a vaseline product however, they are petroleum-free! They absorb easily into my skin and blend out super simply. They do have a slightly gritty feel when I use them on my lips…it feels like I’m applying a sugar scrub! But they do have a smooth, even finish on lips with a nice shine.

I find they wear a solid eight hours on my drier skin without fading. They build easily as well for more pop but I do like the initial sheerness of the product which gives them a very natural look. I find they wear away faster on my lips and I can only get about an hour in before the initial glossiness fades and a brief stain is left behind for another hour after.

Well, I can’t rave Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip And Cheek Creamy Oil! I’ve tried a ton of blushes this Spring but I must admit these are my favorite of all of them.

I actually hated these. They never dried down and my hair kept getting stuck on my cheeks. They were so sticky and only lasted 2-3 hours on my cheeks and 2 seconds on my lips! I definitely prefer the stain of her cheek gelee.

  • Becky

I just purchased the always cherry and the everlasting nude, I LOVE THEM. I wish they had a more yummy flavor but that can be easily overlooked. They are beautiful, and I am an oily skin girl.

    • Isabella Muse

YAY! SCORE for the oily skin girls! wasn’t sure that oily skin users would love these happy to hear they work for you becky!

  • Sarah V

Wow!! Loves! These look and sound amazing and your swatches are hella convincing. Like you mentioned, I’m always on the lookout for a multi-tasking blush, but so many are in icky sticks or pots. Yuck! These will stay sanitary and look promising. They’ll be going in my Sephora cart pronto! Thanks Muse!!

  • Sassa

Whoops! There goes my ‘No Buy’ vow for April! These look like they were made for me and my cheeks/lips. I never would have considered either of these shades if I hadn’t seen your pictures. My wallet is cowering in fear.

    • Isabella Muse

haha 😀 awww! that’s ok you can get them in May when the warm weather really sets in! 😀

  • Ashley

I tested these out yesterday at Sephora, on the back of my hand. These are perfect for summer, as they melt into your skin, giving you a lit from within glow. Great product with multiple uses and a gorgeous color range, I was really impressed with this product!

  • Jessica

I swatched these at Sephora over the weekend and the colors were very nice but unfortunately these just wouldn’t work on my oily skin. If I had dry skin I would be all over these! 🙂

  • Deb

So Muse, with my dry skin like yours that just eats cream blush I have to ask: did these ever dry down? Or did they stay tacky on you?

    • Isabella Muse

HA mine too and people think I’m crazy when I say that because “cream blush is great for dry skin”! pssffftt yeah right. They stay dewy but the wear is fairly excellent for a cream or should I say gel!? blush!

  • Fatima

Hey Muse! how would you say these lasted on the lips? does it apply like a stain or a lipgloss?

    • Isabella Muse

i actually addressed all of that in the review fatima! read through 🙂 hope this helps!

        • Isabella Muse

no it’s ok! I did address it in the review though 🙂 glossiness/staying power etc! Hope it helps!

  • sara

I returned these as well. I bought them for lip moisture and was disappointed:( Wear time was less than half an hour and I didn’t find them moisturizing at all…Will be trying Bite next!

  • Jessica

I recently just purchased these on QVC! I believe it was in the shade Honey and you get TWO tubes for 25 dollars + shipping! So excited to try these! They also have another shade available on QVC that’s only sold there called rose! Thanks for the review on the lip and cheek tints!

    • Isabella Muse

my pleasure! I saw those but I didn’t want two of the same shade 🙁 so I skipped how’s honey?!

      • Jessica

I like it so far! Actually has color unlike some reviews I’ve read!

  • Lauren

I love this!!! I got Always Cherry for kind of a Snow White effect against my pale skin and dark hair. LOVE! The JM national MUA happened to be at my Sephora the other day. He told me two things: 1) Buy the corresponding cheek gelee (Everlasting Red for me), pat the gelee on first, then layer the Infinity Oil on top”it will wear FOREVER that way. I know, we all need another product like we need a freaking giant hole in our heads, but it really works. 2) The Sephora Pro Flawless Airbrush brush, #56, is PERFECT for applying the Infinity Oil. I found a regular blush brush was too floppy and my fingers were too messy. I’ve tried EVERY blush and this product combo using that brush might be the best ever. Oh, and if you get the Infinity Oil in Cherry and want some SPF, the Fresh Lip Treatment in Passion goes perfectly.

  • Trish

Muse, I love most of JM products and this works for me. I am older and dryer than most of your subscribers so I need oily products. Lol

I also want you to know how much I appreciate and look forward to your daily reviews arriving in my email. I need to upgrade to a new ipad because the one I have is one of the first. It crashes when trying to navigate your blog but that is my fault because of the age of the ipad. Anyway, I just wanted you to know how much you are appreciated and I’ll be back to search your blog for gems, when I stop being stingy and buy a new ipad! You’re a doll with beautiful skin..

    • Isabella Muse

hi trish! Oh I’m the same! dry as hell! It’s a curse 😀 I hope these work out for you too! Aw thank YOU! 🙂 that means so so so so much to me! It could be my site, sorry, to fix this you can turn off javascript on your ipad temporarily while browsing musings! that should help! I’m so sorry about that! thank you again you made my day!

  • Beautycat

I got the Berry shade from Sephora, however, it has to go back because I absoultely hate this product. To be fair, all the six shades are beautiful enough, what’s going wrong is the formulation.
I have normal skin and my lips are soft even without applying any lip balm. This product has no staying power and dried up my lips crazy, it is defintely not a lip product for me. When I tried it on my cheeks, it looks shiny and patchy. I apply a little bit by little bit with very light hand, it still doesn’t work. In my opinion, Benefit tint does a better job.

  • Sarah

Thanks for swatching the coral. I’m in love with her products and wanted something coral for my lips. I love that you swatch and wear all the make up because it always pops up on Google (I always Google before I buy). Thanks for being so helpful. I am picking up the coral ASAP!

    • Isabella Muse

My pleasure Sarah! They are quite lovely! I wish she had more shades that launched for Summer this year 😀 let me know what you think after trying!
