Maybelline Enchanting Apricot Master Glaze Blush Stick Review & Swatches

Maybelline Enchanting Apricot

I’m obviously a glutton for punishment as I did so grab the new, limited edition Summer 2014 Maybelline Enchanting Apricot Master Glaze Blush Stick.

Shoot me.

I don’t even like the Master Glaze Blush Stick formula. It wears away on me super quickly and it proves a little too sparkly for my tastes but lord knows Enchanting Apricot just drew me in and whispered to me how much I needed to own it.

I’m such a sad and diseased makeup junkie.

Maybelline Enchanting Apricot Master Glaze Blush Stick is a new, limited edition shade that Maybelline launched with the Bleached Neons Summer 2014 Collection.

It’s actually a delightful shade and dare I say a must have although the formula still has issues for me!

I mentioned in my prior review I find the $10 price tag on these a bit hard to swallow as they are kinda small! And $10 is what I paid at Harmons so lord knows they must be even higher priced at CVS, Walgreens, Etc…they are cute though! The small, chubby little swivel up blush design makes for easy storage and travel.

I find the creamy formula blends well and applies easily but sometimes clings a bit to my drier areas. This particularly shade has more of a dewy finish than I’ve experienced from other colors in the collection which was good as my dry skin likes dewy. The shade starts out rather pigmented on initial application but sheers out considerably as you blend. I get about four hours of wear from it before it disappears almost completely! That’s just how my dry skin rolls when it comes to cream blush it seems.

This formula kinds reminds me of a NARS the Multiple and Enchanting Apricot can even be considered a bit of an Orgasm looking shade. Thankfully it does not have much shimmer as I had experience a good deal of shimmer with other colors I tried but this didn’t have chunky shimmer pieces. The color is a pretty and rich golden apricot. It’s a shade that can look either cool or warm depending on the skin tone using it. It gives my cheeks a delightful glow!

The Maybelline Enchanting Apricot Master Glaze Blush Stick shade is unfortunately limited edition however, Master Glaze Blush Sticks are a permanent product. My suggestion is stock up on the shade if you see it as I imagine it’s going to be a color that’s very appealing to many people who like glow-y shades of golden peach!

It’s available now at drugstores.

I purchased this item.

I actually really like these! They are $9 Cdn here at Wal-Mart which I think is awesome value. Considering I just paid $42 for a NARS Matte Multiple (ouch). They wear pretty well on me, but I need touch-ups with any cream blush.

It’s a pretty shade and looks good on you. I had to laugh when you said you didn’t even like the formula of this product but got it anyway….that sounds like me! I think I will have to give this one a try even though I don’t have good experience with stick blushes.

Woah your Harmon’s was expensive. I got my Master Glaze stick, the same shade, for $6.59. I do have to say I love it but I probably wouldn’t pay $10 for it, considering its so small.

    • Isabella Muse

yeah, typically they are around $6-$6.99 at harmons but for some reason this new collection had them at $10 each ouchie!

I bought the Dare to go Nude shade Barely Pink which I find really lovely and wearable 🙂
