Maybelline Summer 2014 Bleached Neons Collection at Drugstores

Maybelline Summer 2014 Collection

The Maybelline Summer 2014 Bleached Neons Collection is popping up in a variety of displays at drugstores. The new Maybelline Summer 2014 Collection contains limited edition shades of of Color Tattoo Eyeshadow, Master Glaze Blush, Color Show Nail Polish, Color Whisper Lipstick, Master Glaze Bronze Sticks, and much, much more!

This is a great collection of fun shades that are very wearable as they aren’t as loud as the name implies!

Take a peek!

Of course, possibly the more exciting aspect of the Maybelline Summer 2014 Bleached Neons Collection is the fact there are two brand new, limited edition Maybelline Color Tattoo shades called Sunwashed Sky and Shimmering Sea! As you’ll notice they are appear to be dupes of shades we have from the Maybelline Summer 2013 Collection! More on that in a bit…!

There’s also a brand new, limited edition Master Glaze Blush Stick in Enchanting Apricot. As well as two new Color Whisper Lipstick in Peach Punch and Pop of Poppy. Lastly there are five new, limited edition shades of Color Elixir in the following shades:

  • Luxe in Lilac
  • Luminous Lilac
  • Glowing Garnet
  • Orange Aglow
  • Radiant Raspberry

The collection also features Master Glaze Bronze Sticks, as well as Bronzing Powder and nail colors.

The last item in the collection are a new product called Maybelline Master Drama Chromatic Crayon Liner. These appear to be a new permanent product but a majority of the other items in the collection are limited edition shades!

I’ll be posting up close photos, swatches, and reviews of the new Color Elixir, Color Whisper, and Color Tattoo shades shortly so stay tuned!

I’m quite excited about this launch as the colors are both vibrant, fun, yet subtle enough to wear easily and not be too loud!

Anyone spot the displays yet?

Do share!

Call me cynical, but isn’t “Bleached neon” just a marketing way to phrase “pastel”? 😛 I love the colors though, it’s a good way to do fun summer colors that require a little less courage than some other offerings out there.

I just watched the last season of Mad Men on Netflix, and Betty is definitely wearing a nail polish that I would call “bleached neon” – it reads so colorfully, even in dim light, and it is most definitely not pastel. (Frankly, I wish they would release some of the colors they used – I don’t mean like the Estée Lauder Mad Men collection, but colors they used on set).

You can look them up online. There are a lot of articles about which products they used for Mad Men.

Sort of. I don’t think any of the colors are pastel or close to neon, at least the lip products. Neon is still trendy for the summer, so they were hoping to attract people to that.

Master Glaze bronze sticks look PERFECT for contouring! I hope we get these in Canada. The only time I think we’ve ever got the LE Color Tattoos was summer 2013…

I spotted this at the Harmon’s inside my local Bed Bath and Beyond last weekend. I thought the color tattoos were repackages of two of last year’s shades, but I wasn’t 100% positive and heaven forbid I be wrong as there was only one of each left so I picked them up. When I got home, yup, last year’s colors with new names. I do sort of regret not picking up the poppy Color Whisper though…

I am at a place where I only buy online. When do you think these will be available online and which website stocks the most recent launches? 🙂

    Thanks!

no one really stocks LE collections from drugstores…on a rare occasion Ulta.com will have Le launched but doubtful this will launch there.

I thought there was one more color elixer? I’m Blushing? Isn’t that part of this set?
