NARS Final Cut Blush Spring 2014

NARS New Attitude Blush ($29) is a limited edition blush shade released with the NARS Final Cut Collection which is available exclusively at Nordstrom.

I actually featured this shade recently on Cate Blanchett because lord it’s very true to pan on her fairer skin. On me it comes across almost peachy! I’ve found the color varies from skin tone to skin tone so it is a nice color switching shade that won’t look the same on everyone.

Take a look.

I think the more accurate description of New Attitude is cherry blossom pink. This is a blue based pink but it’s quite unique for being blue based as it isn’t a bubblegum pink as there is some warmth here but there’s also elements of a cotton candy-like shade as well! It reminds me a bit of Tarte Dollface.

The blush has a satin finish with absolutely no shimmer or sparkle and a soft, finely milled texture that applies and blends easily onto skin.

If you have a cooler skin tone I think you’ll get more truer pink from New Attitude. Personally I have some warmth in my skin so I saw a bit of peach with the pink!

None the less it remains one of the more unique shades in the Final Cut Collection. If I am honest though none of the shades thus far really captured me! I wish they had a little something more to them….! They seem like a rerun to me.

I’m with you Muse! I don’t have this but I have so many blushes that look just like it. I finally realized I have a little bit of a blush problem ( maybe addiction?) so I imposed a no buy for myself for the rest of the year. Of course, that was after I just received my 3 new MUFE HD cream blushes LOL. Oh well, watcha gonna do? There’s only so many colors that can be done and we are certainly deep into repeat territory……with all brands across the board. This looks good on you though so at least you got a winner!
