About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Argh the YSL Kiss and Blushes look super amazing but, I hate the price tag. $40 is wayyyy to much for a blush and lip stain. I hated paying $30 for the Mac Proenza ombré blush and Nars Orgasm. I’m set on blush for life lol

Some of the prices of “luxury” are really NUTS. THat said, I did one F&F splurge on the YSL lip and nail gift. I have to say that while I would never spend $27 on a nail polish (I also had a gift card LOL and had been lemming the lippie but it was sold out as a single) the YSL nail polish I have goes on like latex. I swear it’s the most beautiful red polish I own. I wear it on my toes mostly and it lasts.
