Revlon Killer-Watt Super Lustrous Lipgloss Review & Swatches

Revlon Killer-Watt Super Lustrous Lip Gloss

Revlon Killer-Watt Super Lustrous Lipgloss is one of three limited edition lipgloss shades that launched with the Spiderman inspired Revlon Electric Chrome Collection.

Take a look!

Revlon Killer-Watt Super Lustrous Lipgloss is a sparkling fuchsia with blue and silver shimmer. On lips it isn’t as bright but more of a subtle red. The color is sheer but builds up nicely to a glossy red on lips. Although there is a good deal of micro shimmer when viewing this gloss in the tube I don’t think it necessarily translates to the finish. The gloss isn’t gritty due to the shimmer and has a plush, soft feel that leaves lips shiny and hydrated through the wear. You do have to build the color up so three layers will get you the look I did below.

I find the Lustrous Lipgloss formula is very lightweight without being tacky or sticky. It wears very comfortably on my drier lips and doesn’t migrate and I do not detect fragrance of flavor of any kind. I find color wears for around three hours.

The collection is Spider-man themed thus it comes in special edition packaging which includes a black top and a golden web that decorates it! Quite cool for Spidey fans!

The gloss looks great on you Muse! I saw these at my Ulta. I didn’t pick up any of the lip glosses since I don’t wear lip gloss much, and I thought with all the shimmers it might look too shimmery on the lips. But I really love the packaging with this collection. I picked up the nail polish in “I’m Electro” 😀

Hunted several stores and finally got to a fully stocked display, wanted everything but decided to get the Killer-Watt gloss and Spidey sense nail color, love the gloss so far…going to try the nail polish soon, can’t wait to wear it to the movie in May.

THis is really pretty! It looks similar to the one I bought yesterday (I told you about it in another post – GLOW). I’m really loving the cap design. I love spiders, they signify creativity and re-birth. 🙂

Migrated right to the blue gloss and ran off with it. Just enough pigmentation to neutralize the rosiness to my lips. I really like the formula for this gloss, too. Nice and NOT sticky, just how I like them. 🙂

Thanks for the review Muse! I just bought this recently. It really reminds me of the Chanel glossimer in Spark. ONLY much cheaper!! 🙂
